Enjoy these new features for what they are......New features, good for some useless to others, yet available to all.
These are just 10 out of 200. No, not all are great or mind boggling , however it just gives us more versatility and usefulness of our iPhones.

I'm going through why iOS6 sucks point by point and sticking to the facts of the matter. The iOS6 supporters in this thread however, seem to largely be unable to say anything except "get an Android" or "anything that goes against iOS6 is trolling" or "Apple did touchscreen phones first so anything they do is golden".

When you guys actually have a decent argument as to why people should not be disappointed with iOS6, I'll say something different.

By the way, boys, that poll crept up to 46%. The tide is turning, slowly but surely. Another iOS disappointment like this and we'll be well into the 50% range so start writing those feedback emails to Apple so iOS7 doesn't end up as yet another snoozefest.

And, for some strange reason, you desperately need for everyone else to agree with you. Kind of pitiful.

That's like saying it wasn't a "flaw" when iOS didn't have copy and paste or MMS.

When I bought the first generation iPhone, I'd been using Windows Mobile phones for many years. When I realized that cut and past was not possible on the iPhone i thought 'that's strange, why would they leave that out', but I did not consider it a flaw.

I flaw is typically a promised feature that doesn't work right. I suppose you could use it for missing features but I'd think that said features would have to be pretty major.

Seriously, look at what they're doing in the Android world. They are running tablet mode ROMS on their phones, while Apple is.............well.......still doing the same thing they did on the first iphone.

"Flaw" is the wrong word to use. The word to use is "shortcoming".

That's like saying that a car company choosing not to put power windows in a car is a 'flaw'.

Uh... yea that is most definitely a flaw.

I thought it was idiotic that my $500+ new iPhone didn't have MMS

It would be a flaw in thinking, so yes it would be a flaw. Would you buy a brand new car without power windows? Didn't think so.

Of course I would. Power windows is not the one and only consideration when selecting a car, and I don't consider widgits to be the one and only consideration when selecting a smart phone.

Buying a new car in 2012 without power windows... I dont even know where to begin.

Come on guys those Android are purty and you know it. LOL

One thing I like about Apple is restraint.

No "Intel Inside" stickers. No crapware (other than the Google stuff that comes preloaded on iOS .....badump bump!!)

Apple is the European automobile with classic lines and a tasteful interior that is timeless. Android is phone meets Tron.

Apple's big on "Hey look! It does it for you" Android is big on "Hey Look! 25 buttons to that you can drag everywhere to toggle every feature!"

I'm sticking with underwhelming. If I wanted to be scatterbrained I'd watch MTV.

Rogelio

That's a freaking mess. Is Android really that ugly?

No it's just that Apple users are so used to looking at the same bland screen full of icons for the last 4 years you guys have lost your ability to recognize anything else.

can you guys imagine your iphone running in tablet mode!! Oh wait there's no difference between iphone and ipad so you guys already have tablet mode on your iphone :D

Rogelio kinda ****ed up there and posted pictures of a custom ROM that has a hybrid tablet/phone mode. That's not what stock ICS looks like, for the most part.

No it's not stock ICS. It was posted to show the capabilities and advances being done on Android and comparing them to the advances being made on iPhone from one generation to the next.

Notice how the design of these apps is clean. Everything jives with the theme. The colors are masterful. Now compare the UI blasphemy of your photos to this and you'll hopefully understand.

Rogelio, that doesn't accurately show the advances being made on Android. That shows a custom ROM that has been built by some hobbyists on a forum to experiment with the UI. Most people don't use what you showed there. In fact, 99.9% of Android users don't use what you showed there.
