so i've placed my order, but what if tomorrow i will go to one of the apple stores and be able to get one right away.. will i be able to cancel my online order without any problem?

How you guys ordered already!

I can't find something to place my order

Go to the education store.

Also I find it odd that some people have it shipping 2-3 weeks and some people have april 15th. I think only the first few got the 2-3 weeks.

Search for iPad 2, click on the title of the product you want, it will take you to a page with active "Buy" buttons. I don't know why navigating to the normal store site isn't active yet. It's past 1AM PDT...

Edit: regular store site

Credit. Card. Declined. $^&%$ I have more than enough available credit... Can't call it in cause it's 4am, FutureShop better have some.

Yeah I just ordered another one from the normal store and it says 2-3 weeks shipping so I'll cancel my 1 click education one, since I actually got a confirmation email with this one, lol. Just to be on the safe side.

Just ordered mine! 16GB WiFi. There's not a single store in my city that sells Apple so there's no point in me waiting in line anywhere ;-) I can wait 2-3 weeks or whatever to get mine. I waited this long without one LOL

Edit, just got my email: Leaves Apple: 15 Apr Receive it: 22 Apr

A month, and I ordered it within 2 minutes of the online store opening. That's OK ;-)

It's really mind boggling why you guys would place an order for an item that doesn't ship until 3 weeks later?? This is really disappointing. What kind of launch includes a 3 week wait even if it is an online order. I can just imagine the chaos at Apple Store tomorrow.

To me, it's mind boggling that people endure the crazy chaos and stress of a launch day line up, all to get it a couple weeks sooner.

Ordered 2 white iPads with the 2-3 week wait which I won't bother with the lineups tomorrow.

Once the order leaves the warehouse, what shipping service does Apple use? Is it DHL or UPS? Is it usually faster than 8 days?

Is anyone here in Halifax? Just wondering what the lines will be like. Curious to know how many the Mac Store in downtown Halifax will procure.

London Best Buy South

I truly am a nerd now. Sitting in Best Buy parking lot all by myself. I called the north Best Buy last night and they had people setting up tents at 8:45. So I get here at 4:45 after not wanting to wait 2-3 weeks to get on online. Extra large timmies might not have been such a great idea in about 2 hours though.

The personal hotspot on ios 4.3 is great though not having to tether is nice.

That's hilarious! I'm sitting in the Fairview Point Claire parking lot, no one is here! I am such a fangirl. Go us!

Respect (to both of you above). I always line up for iPhone launches, but I don't NEED the iPad, so I'm happy to wait for my order to arrive.
