i was told they never had any today. Who knows what to believe now anyway. Anyone still lining up tomorrow morning?

Will probably call first thing in the morning tomorrow before I head out to work at 9AM. I will be sure to update with the status!

If they have them, I will be sure to be there since I work so close.

That's just weird!! I wish they would get their stories straight. Even asked about tomorrow, and they said no stock yet.

Woodfield, Old Orchard, and Northbrook. All empty still on stock. 10AM opening time.

Just got off the phone. *shakes fist* 2-3 weeks via on-line ordering: slow and steady wins the race, I guess.

Bah.

Stopped by North Ave. store, doors opened at 8, sales start @ 9. Manager came out at 7:55 saying they had no iPads and were not expecting any today. Line was 15 people deep. Michigan ave store has 12 people waiting as of 8:18 am, no word on stock yet.

Mich ave store mgr came out saying they have limited supply, first come first served. Doors open at 10.

Bah.

The FedEx truck in Skokie doesn't show until 10ish. They won't know if they'll get any until it shows up.

Hoping they get some tomorrow as I'll be lining up for the 3rd time.. hopefully I can get one this time.

There's about 60-70 waiting, line goes around corner to alley on Huron.

This is almost comical. I had zero desire whatsoever to upgrade my iPad until I thought it was really worth the effort but seeing all of these "shortages" and whatnot of course has me wondering "what am I missing out on?".

Apple has totally perfected the art of scarcity-value induces sales. Still resisting though...

It is comical, I feel as if I'm standing out here freezing my a$$ off in a Russian soup line only there's very little hope of getting a bowl at the end. Seriously though I sold my iPad a month ago and have been a bit twitchy without it. I'll post an update if there is success today.

How far up are you aircher? I counted and its about 130 deep now. I am at the entrance of mburger 🙁

In and out of store in 5 min, all models in stock. Line was about 150 deep by the time I got in at 10.

Around 9:30 Naperville said they do not "divulge" the time when the trucks come and there were already 20 people in line.

Just spoke to someone there and they said they got a shipment in and they are already gone. There were not even enough for the people in line.

Was five from the front at mich ave and it sold out. A group of 4 bought two each and bam it was over. Sucks.
