Me too - I only ordered my Red Leather Smart Cover at lunch time!! Just need an ipad now!!
 
Just got the email (s) for the HDMI connector(s) that I ordered earlier.

To clarify I did a 1-click, nothing happened, so I placed a normal order. Both have now shipped - email received and supposedly receiving on or before 25th...

Also got notification to say smart cover shipped and will be delivered 25th march that is quick - when ordered said two weeks

I'm Kent based too... swinging between going to Bluewater for 4pm, gots to pick my kids up from school, or not bothering... Which Currys was listed? must of missed that post...
 
Damn you apple!!! Anyone else just get the email saying the iPad is here and ready to purchase now?

Both my 2 seperate iPad 2 cover orders have shipped estimated to be delivered tomorrow. They were both placed 10 mins apart, the first with 1click, the second manually.
 
Hmmm.... These Smart Cover orders have all been marked as dispatched, but may not arrive that fast.

My plan was to order an iPad tonight...then try and buy one in a store tomorrow.... then cancel the online order (which I assumed would not have been dispatched by the time I went to a store)

I don't fancy getting stuck with an online order that they mark as dispatched - and therefore billed - which doesn't arrive for weeks :(

Having said all that... I finish early tomorrow, so can be in Trafford for 1pm... that should be early enough suuuurely.....
 
Does anyone have any idea how many iPads you can order and how long you have to take it back at Apple stores?

Seeing as the misses is coming down, and she isn't happy about possibly frantically hunting Canterbury for an iPad tomorrow, i doubt she'd be up for Friday night motorway traffic to Bluewater :S ...

I have an inckling they will ship tomorrow for (cross keys) a saturday delivery!

Bluewater Apple store certainly isn't the smallest, but is always FRANTIC (as most Apple stores are!). when I went to get my MBP logic board fixed, I was treading over idiots on the display models (no 'hoodies' present though ;) )
 
If these SmartCovers are already being dispatched and have a expected delivery date of 25th then I would think they are all here somewhere in the UK? Did the US folks have there SmartCovers come from FarEast?
 
If you're talking about buying from the store I' believe it's 2 per person. I hope so as I've promised my mate I'd pick on up for him tomorrow.

Am I right in thinking that the expected prices £399 for 16gb wifi are correct?

I logged in here last night, this thread was upto about 61 pages, only another 40 odd in one day!!

Bring on tomorrow!

The first US deliveries didn't start arriving 'til the following Tuesday so don't get your hopes up!!

I work there, we won't be getting them in. Not sure why, could be John Lewis just being arsewipes because they want the allocation or because Apple doesn't want a supermarket selling them (though I heard Tesco might?)

We had the iPad 1 for about a week before they mysteriously disappeared from the shelves.
