To be fair, I still roll with the first generation iPhone. Yeah, I'm that cool (and tight arse enough to not upgrade until this one breaks on me!)

I have an inkling that leather and magnets are not as hard to come by as IPS displays and A5 chips though!

Im on O2. . .when I'm not rocking GPRS. . .I'm rocking 3 bars of EDGE.
Occaisionally I can get 3G for maybe ten mins before it goes to No Service, and then back to Edge. They really are PATHETIC. This is in a Major City too!
Though they can spend **** loads of money on stupid adverts, stupid new customer promo's. . erm how about spending some on your network.
Does anyone know if there's a twitter account I can follow (and then follow by SMS) that will be tweeting when the online orders come up?

Fair play, I'm just basing my predictions on obvious UK stock of smart covers, therefore hoping UK stock of iPads.
I spoke with someone at Apple Chat yesterday and they said the iPads would be dispatched from their warehouse. I asked if this was a UK warehouse, and she said 'correct'.
Well, its getting close now. Just wanted to add my thanks to those already given by others here. This has been a great thread, and there has been much useful information from many contributors - thanks to all.

I have 26mins before the last film comes off at my cinema, then a 40 min drive home... then mash F5 for 30 mins on the apple site. I think Online Ordering is the safest way to go!

Hmm... the last thing I bought from the online store was iLife, ordered on Monday, shipped on Tuesday, delivered on Wednesday!

I think it's Apple's distributor, all orders from the online store name Syncreaon on the packaging.
I just ordered a Smart Cover from Tesco Direct, for some reason they only have orange. It was £39.99 but there is a code on their homepage for £10 off a £50 spend so I added an iphone case, 5% quidco too and option to deliver to store for free. Delivery is meant to be Saturday.
I just hope they don't end up sending out online orders tomorrow while I am queuing!

Yes but you never know. Could go up early. Personally I think I'll try and find one in store tomorrow. Not too hopefull of my chances though
