I reckon there is a small chance there will still be units at big Apple stores after the queues have got theirs. I'm about 30 minutes away from Regent St so mentally prepared to head up there at about 6pm. We will have had word whether they have sold out or not.

I work in Piccadilly and finish work at 5.30pm. Was planning to head over to Regent Street too and join the MASSIVE queue. Here's hoping that you are right and I will get one! I'm not holding out too much hope though. Placed an order online last night at 1am as a backup option.

sitting on a stool inside PC World Nottingham... am 3rd in the queue... writing this on an iMac.. as the queue is right in the apple section inside :D

40ppl in Gateshead metrocentre queue

If anyone uses twitter could they send updates with the tags #ipad2queue that way we can all follow what is going on with pictures and updates? ;)

arent apple stores taking in more deliveries today? anyone know?

If they start doing what they did in the US, what stock is received one day is releasedthe following day. ie What they sell today will be what was delivered yesterday, and what is delivered today will sit out back until tomorrow, and so forth.

High Cross in Leicester here. Queue is about 100 deep already.

Finally got into 'Order status' and it seems one of the orders placed last night that gave the error message was successful!:) So 3 orders placed currently... Makes me wonder how many other people have had the same thing - error messages concealing successful orders...

Hmmm that doesn't make sense. Why would the stop selling knowing that they still have stock in the back?

I hope you're right as I plan on making a trip to the Apple store Saturday morning!

Just walked past Glasgow Apple about 20minutes ago, there was about 100 or so people(I didn't stand and count, was crossing the road xD)

Popped into John Lewis aswell but they haven't put stands up yet and the guys were busy talking so just walked on. Will check again later.

But it looks like the Apple Store will def be a nono by 3pm...
