This is so frustrating... Got to the last stage, pick your slot... and it froze again...

Definite unless you miss your time slot at which point the device becomes free for sale..
So they still have stock at Regent St but you can't reserve it cos there are no slots left...

What is going on with Apple, never used to be like this!! Come on, all I want to do is buy an iPad, how hard can they make it?

Except when you go to checkout there aren't any delivery slots available at all

When it worked for me, each stage went through to the next in only a couple of seconds. I found that once it bogs-down it stays bogged-down. When that happened, I just returned to the local Apple Store front page and started again. Only took a couple of tries tonight.

finally got a 64wifi white ordered for liverpool tonight, been trying all week. The site seemed slower and glitchier than ever tonight, i only just picked my time before it timed out, was worried it didnt go through but just got my email woohoo lol
True. I struggled for 10 minutes to get shiz to happen, and it kept timing out and dumping me out of the system. When it worked, it worked very smoothly, and luckily, they hadn't sold out.

Bentall Centre seems to have stock but you cant reserve a pickup time. If I could get there tomorrow I'd go into store - anyone want to make a few quid and pick one up for me ?

You need to wait for a dynamic dropdown menu to load below this, which will show you some pickup times. It takes a while to appear even after the page has 'loaded'.
If you click on 'Continue' before it loads, it'll give you this error.
Everyone is complaining and screaming but you all need to get a grip. You cannot expect Apple to have the hardware and engineering up to support 100% of the peak product-launch-reservation-time demand on the website. 99% of the time it would all just go to waste.

If i don't get to reserve tomorrow, i will not be getting one at all. Don't need it that much.

Nobody said they were being overnighted. I'm well aware of where they're coming from but it doesn't change the fact that the overall experience is poor if you've ordered from Apple. Especially when so many people that ordered early on launch day have seen no movement in their orders.
Not if the iPhone bumpers are anything to go by. It was easier getting an iPhone 4 than it was to get a bumper for me. Didn't even see a bumper for months!
The red Smart Cover was in the Apple Store on launch day but I've not seen them since. The others are in pretty plentiful supply from what I can tell.
