Ditto - just back from collecting mine. Now I have to wait to transfer my iTunes library from Mac to Air before plugging it in. Impatient
I ordered online the moment it was available & i just received my dispatch email today.
Is this the acknowledgement email or the despatch email (if you even get one?).
It's been a couple of hours now and I've not received a second email about the iPad or the digital AV adapter that I ordered shortly afterwards...

I can now track mine through the UPS app as well.
Ordered a 16GB 3G Black at 8:37am local time on launch day, and it has now been shipped and has just arrived in Germany.

I ordered a 16GB Black Wi-Fi at around 12:45am on launch day. It shipped today and is estimated to arrive on Monday 11th.
Finally after trying all day yesterday got a 16GB white ordered from Tesco this morning for delivery on Monday!! Don't really understand how their delivery works, does anyone know if they use a courier or does it get delivered to the store and then sent out on one of those vans that delivers peoples shopping.
I'd say your best bet is ipad-stock.co.uk and order from a third party there when what you're after is in stock. While it is probable that Apple will ship sooner there is no way to know. I was put off Apple as if you order online they charge your card at the time of order. This means should you source one elsewhere and want to cancel the Apple order there would be a delay of a few days to have the funds put back on your card. This is the case for debit cards as I cancelled my iPhone 4 order with Apple online last June as I managed to walk in and get one in store. Was three days before the funds were back in the account can't speak for credit card however.
My online order made on the Apple site at 12.35am ish has now changed to say that it's going to be with me on Monday!!

) so it's anyone's guess as to when an order might arrive.I asked at our local Comet (Keighley) last week: "Which ipad2 models do you have in stock?", "None! and we don't know how long any orders will take to arrive"
I'm not in a rush so might just place an order with Apple and see what happens.

I've put down a paid order for one, which means that as soon as the one that I want comes in, it's mine, however, I'm going to ring round the local Comets today, and see what they say!

Apple's shipping estimates are pretty good in my experience. They usually beat their targets. Do remember that it's a shipping estimate rather than a delivery estimate, though.

Sign up for the email alerts, can customise it to alert you when the model you want comes into stock! My Tesco order has been dispatched...sleepless night ahead and a day of standing at the window tomorrow...a total waste of a day I should be studying on!
Mine too. Go figure! Seems they forgot to take our package off the plane!

Exactly the same info for me. There must be a very large pallet sitting in Cologne at the moment with all our iPads on. Next stop UK? Tonight? ..tomorrow morning?
Busy UPS vans driving around on Thursday dropping goodies off for us all.At the moment my Camera connection kit arrives here on Wednesday and the iPad on Thursday. I'd be happy for UPS to save themselves a second trip and drop both off on the Wednesday!
