From what I can remember from previous orders the current Cologne info just refers to the paperwork. The actual iPads probably have a bit of a journey left yet. My 2011 MBP ended up going through Korea, Kazakhstan and Poland before it made it to Germany.

From what I can remember from previous orders the current Cologne info just refers to the paperwork. The actual iPads probably have a bit of a journey left yet. My 2011 MBP ended up going through Korea, Kazakhstan and Poland before it made it to Germany.
It's easier to just reserve them for pickup in shop, they come online every night at 9. They're sold out within 5 - 10 mins though, so you need to be on bang on time. I've had 3 through that method, on 3 different days.

Yep, mines on that palette too! Roll on Thursday! My dock still hasn't shipped though and neither has my Orange sim card. Not bothered about the dock but need the sim for next weekend. Might just go and get another from the Orange Store in town.

Tried that three nights in a row but got beat. Even got to choosing a pickup before time out. By the time I got back from a long weekend break (if you can call 4 days with 3 kids in Disney Land a break!) was showing new dispatch date. Given all the bleed problems for some I am hoping being patient and loyal to my order will pay off!
Mine now shows 13th for delivery too!!

Simple. Create a Wikipedia page about the A.P.P.L.E religion and refer your superiors to that. If it's on Wikipedia it's true, hard FACT.
If that fails maybe they'll be humoured by your big effort and give you the day off anyway. Its got to be worth a shot

Nope, still Wednesday for me (Still in Koeln this morning, thought it might have moved to UK overnight?), but I'm cool with that. Actually, Thursday would have been good for me so ain't complaining 😉

I had a really easy time getting my iPad. On Thursday I went looking in Dundee for one, currys, pcworld, comet, the usual suspects and all told me I would have to wait about 3 weeks for one, or order it online!
So went home, did some surfing and realised you could reserve one at Apple after 9pm for next day pick up. So I did. Drove unto aberdeen and picked up my White 16gb wifi iPad.
Was super easy to get my hands on one!
