Red is still '2-3 weeks'.or pretty much next day delivery from apple online stores.
Yesterday morning at 06:30 I was able to order a 16GB 3G Black from John Lewis, and was quoted 3-5 day delivery.
The order sat in 'processing' for the entire day.
This morning the order has switched to 'dispatched' with a tracking number for 'Business Post iForce Tracking', though no details yet when I try to track it.
I'll keep this updated to help people anticipate John Lewis shipping/delivery times.
What OS version did it ship with?My John Lewis order just arrived. Ordered online on Tuesday at 06:30 and was quoted 3-5 day shipping. It was delivered Thursday at 14:00 (on the delivery van since 06:30).

Again, nothing from PCW regarding my Black 16GB Wifi iPad.
I'd phone them .. be polite but persistent and explain that you've heard nothing and need the information about its status etc etc
All the best! .. I'm still in a state of (joyous!) shock that Currys turned up trumps for me!! .. hasn't changed my view of them though to be honest and am glad that with Apple products I can return them straight to Mr Jobs if there's a problem![]()
