Eugh this wait is killing me! I would love to be able to preorder it, otherwise it means camping outside the Belfast apple store from the early hours!

True, I'm sure the US online order times didn't have a specific time until about 2days before it!

If i remember correctly they did have a time, but were reminded about it a day before, I remember watching the coverage on twit and they were debating how to get there's at 5pm as some were going to be on planes to SXSW.

Gotta love TWiT! Yeah Sarah queued up for her and Leo's didn't she? Such a hard life huh, having to work out something like that while on a plane to SXSW...it'd be nice!

See you there - lucky I'm only 5 mins drive from Victoria Square. Not making the mistake of starting queuing at 9:30am like I did for iPhone 4 - it was 2:30pm before I was out of the store... I was supposed to be working.
I'll be down early doors this time.

Waiting to hear the opening times but probably between 5am and 6am - might seem crazy to some people but if it means I can be out of the store by 9am-10am it's worth getting up a few hours early.
At least Victoria Square is 24 hour parking.

I remember following these forums for the iPhone 4 release - a couple of guys went straight from the pub to the queue. Most others seemed to come around 6am onwards.

I'll prob be there from 3/4am? What time you guys thinking?

8D I promise to put up the notification while my pages take 4 minutes to load thanks to the server load.

Not me. I'll make my brother get mine if I don't manage to get a decent online order as he will be for his anyways.

(assuming its a morning launch. If its evening I might line up, in which case I think I'll need to buy my brothers!

Lucky for some! My brother is a student so can't afford an iPad (unless I buy one for him ), so I'm on my own. Not sure I'd like to get in that early in the morning the go to work. If it's in the afternoon then by the time I finish work there will probably be a huge line.

I'm going to try my best to get an online order in to save me the hassle.

This forum is getting quite funny :p, I just hope it was as smooth as my previous iPad/iPhone experiences have been, I have always been 1st in line (except for iPhone 3G where I was about 5th) and have always been in and out in around 30 mins after around a 1 hour wait.

I have put this form up for all you Purley Way Croydon goers: http://bit.ly/iPad2-Purley let me know if you think there should be more or less on there and if anyone going on that day can fill it in when they get to their chosen store that would be cool so we can all let each other know easily where to get what from, I will update this page: http://bit.ly/iawa2kiPad with stock levels that I hear/know about - feel free to comment on that page so I can update it as we get closer!

Just hope weather is better today if we are all queuing!

Just been looking on here to keep up to date with the UK info.

Looking to get one on Friday, do people actually queue for Apple products here in England? I know queueing's our thing but really? even away from the central London stores?

Really can't be arsed with that..

We sure do Nacho1. I think we all queue as we know that with Apple especially here in the UK (cough cough, the US' poor cousins of Apple worthiness), have a harder deal to get Apple products when they launch as there is always a drip-feed stock system going on.

I know from experience that even at out-of-town Apple Stores such as Lakeside and Brighton that people will still be queuing hours before doors open.

I think it depends where in the UK you live.

At every iPhone launch I have just waltzed into an O2 shop and got one on launch day...

Think I'll be down for about 10. Pre-ordered the iPhone 4 so I 'only' had to wait three hours...

Oh boy yes, we do.

<Remembers queuing all day (9th in the queue!) on Nov 9 2007 at the Regent Street store for the first iPhone>

Good times!
