They have ordered smart covers from the UK site not iPads

So I too just ordered a Red leather smart cover but it was not on the smart cover page!

You had to click on accessories to see it listed.

Wierd...

The shipping delays just show how little stock Apple have. I am honestly surprised that they don't have any held back here in the UK like they did with pre-orders last year. It doesn't have to be a pre-order but if they had them in a warehouse here they could deliver on Saturday but instead they are in China.

If you want an iPad tomorrow get to the stores EARLY!

I am gonna chance my luck at getting a red cover in-store (or maybe another leather cover if they don't have red) tomorrow but I won't be queuing... I may just stand outside and play with my iPad 2 while everyone is waiting for hours! :p

I've ordered a grey polyurethane case and a camera connection kit. Not received any email yet, but my order status is showing the 14th - 18th April as estimated shipping/delivery time.

excellent idea! i am aiming for meadowhall but i cant get the afternoon off work so not gonna be there till maybe 4.30pm... so this will be useful for me
 
just got off the phone with JL, currys, Apple, PC world and all have every model both colours in stock for tomorrow 5pm. :D
No real point of ordering online.
 
just got of the BB with my friend whos working at orange in london..
they will have them in tomorrow, for contract only!
24month at £27 p/m!!!! it was 1gb p/m and the 16gb version still cost £199!!!
who would be retarded enough to get that!
 
Unless you are planning on queueing from midday

Then I recommend everyone orders online.

DON'T BE COMPLACENT!

No one expected big queues or sell outs in the US with all the stores selling
the iPad but it happened.

People who were queuing from 1pm didn't get iPads as they had sold out.

Order online to cover yourself...

If you can't order online and go to the store (although online won't charge you until it is shipped) then sure go queue up but realise that the 2-3 week waiting will be double by the time you get home without an iPad 2 if you fail on Friday night...

Make something quick for the BB and i'll cover Regent Street / Covent Garden depending on when I get there (around 1pm).
 
smartcover sorted, 1 click not working on work pc even though i set it too, maybe work had something blocked.

went through traditional method and it went through no problem.

Will be using that way later for ipad just i case

now back to work, done nothing today!!!!!!!!!
 
Popped into the Pc World Chiswell St london they said I was prob the 100th person to ask about ipad 2 avalibility today! They said they are going to have 28 avalible in total so roughtly 2 of each version? Guess I won't be going there!:(
