Will the new iPhone 5 support 1700 Mhz for T-Mobile?
Anyone know if any Qualcomm chip support CDMA, GSM and AWS 1700 Mhz?
No way this thing has a "retina" display.
They won't put a USB Port on it, they are allowed to use a 30 pin to Micro USB Adaptor in Europe for charging, and, still comply with the Regulations, the 30 pin Male holds the iDevices into their Docks, there is no way they can change that Plug, Apple worked this detail out with the EU two years ago...
Apple could have done this years ago with the iPod and didn't, whereas Creative did. They aren't going to start now.
Interpolation isn't a huge deal as long as you maintain the aspect ratio. Sure, it gets a bit 'vaseline' the more you dial it up, but the really weird stuff doesn't happen unless you're interpolating 4:3 into 16:10 or something.
Completely redesigned?! My iPhone 4 is going to feel old faster than I thought.
Well this forum is full of high-profile Apple employees with insider information that have broken their NDAs to spill the beans, so surely somebody will be able to answer your question.
Of course nobody knows what it will support. Maybe it will, so they can make it a 'world phone' or maybe it won't, as the CDMA and GSM frequencies supported by the two current iP4s support the majority of the world's carriers and it will save on costs.

I'd say it is irresponsible to create a frenzy over something you just don't understand. Especially if that frenzy damages a person or company. Fortunately the venues can still be held accountable as the democrats haven't taken away our right to sue yet.
Look back in time in these forums and see what some of the posters where doing here based on this crap reporting. We had people trading in, returning or swapping iPhone 4's simply because of media fears instilled in them.

My take in this round.
iPad 2: Very spot on. Bet it launches sooner and a hell of a surprise around MacWorld next week.
iPhone 5: First, that not that name. My guess it will be the iPhone 4G with the same industrial case design as the iPhone 4 but a "totally redesigned" electronic set and perhaps the same battery. It will be "4G phone done right" featuring Facetime across 4G and integration into iChat, Yahoo IM and Eyeball. A few will be shocked to see demos with Andriod phones on the launch. A few button placements are changed making those on this list bitch about needing to buy a new case. Bet this launches in the summer during WWDC.
New Apple TV: Doubt we will see this 'til the fall. They have feedback to review on the current Apple TV. Also with all the FCC regulations on video streaming on the Internet, a lot of hardware vendors are holding back til the dust settle on that one.
Steve said a year or so ago that they feed different outlets and individuals different information to weed out leakage and misdirect.Seems to contradict this story:
https://www.macrumors.com/2011/01/13/next-generation-iphones-referenced-in-ios-4-2/
That story implied Apple would be making separate CDMA and GSM devices.
Could be misdirection by Apple, too.

I'm not one of those people that has to have the latest and greatest the second it's available.
I'd rather have the subsidized price point.![]()
And Apple tv is not a success yet so why bother investing more money on it?
I’m of the opinion that the yearly updates that Apple make to all it’s products aren’t worth upgrading too, bit of hype to catch the “must have the latest” consumers. Wait two years, thats when all the changes make it sensible to upgrade, any sooner is just a waste of money.
