Ah okay. Gotcha now. The ones they held back were the 3G versions. They arrived Wed evening and were in lockup until Friday morning.

I am a bit surprised they held them back. I can understand it on the first outing of the product as its the big impact they are looking for. To be honest over here I think it could go either way at the moment. However too many people are saying tomorrow. Even the Apple tracking page says that. If they had cocked up on that then they have had many hours to correct it. But not done so.

To all you non believers...... I walked out of TNT with my iPad at 5:39am. Just setting it up now :D

Needless to say I'll be posting pictures once I've set it up and had a play :) :) :) :)

Congrats! I'm gonna wait for the delivery. Or walk to the depot myself and collect mine! Probably gonna give 'em a call first.
 
This is my first post with my iPad. It's amazing! Getting used to the typing already :).

I had read reports that the browser was quite slow on these, seems lightning fast to me!!!! I am finding it quite awkward to position though :mad:

Love it!

I will do soon. In order to post them i have to put my shiny new iPad down and go and edit pictures on a NORMAL computer :confused:

Ive just realized the images are a bit ropey, I've used paint to do the editting which is probably the reason. I think you can just make it out!

I am too excited to read what is going on... My UPS order has changed to OUT FOR DELIVERY!
After the months of obsessively checking this thread the final furlong is now below our feet!

Mine was 100%. I've been on it solidly for two hours (probably longer) and I'm down to 80%. Not bad considering it's not been charged and discharged a few times yet!

I can touch type with it now as well, it's actually quicker than using a normal keyboard. I've had read that it was terrible as well, the fools!!! :)
 
Wow! Christmas has come a day early!!!

Mine is out for delivery today:)

My wife & kids are not letting me open it until I get back from work:(

They are just as excited as me:D
 
Had mine out in the office earlier and a guy came over and saw and said "oh nice you got yours already, maybe i'll get mine today"

had to break it to him gently that i imported a few weeks ago :)

funny, i'm excited that everyone else is excited, even though i've got one already!

grats to all those that waited.
