So we’re not to expect new iPads (plural), but there may be a new iPad (singular). A new gaming-ready Mini would be interesting.
Slightly? I must’ve been dreaming this whole ARM transition and iMac redesign with colors and white bezels. So, so boring! 😐I want a new Mini but expect it will be as underwhelming as Apples other releases in the past years… They seem to be hell bent on making tech boring these days, I rarely watch their events anymore since they just present something that’s the same as last year but slightly faster.
How would you know what they present if you rarely watch?I rarely watch their events anymore since they just present something that’s the same as last year but slightly faste
It is almost like the website is called MacRumors and not MacRumor. If you want any more proof of NO ONE really knowing what will be shown today, look no further then this article, clearly stating a new rumour about the iPad Mini 7th gen, yet on the front page today of this website is an article stating ‘what to expect’ at the event and they clearly state no iPads. No one has a clue basically. When Koh and Gurman stated no new iPad Mini would be launched on the very same day Apple released the 6th gen Mini, and the claims of a total Apple Watch redesign with the series 8, they lost any respect from me as to being any more accurate then the man in the street.
How would you know what they present if you rarely watch?

Oh yeah, the Mini. Why do you buy the one Mac, which is supposed to be nothing but a cheep small box without peripherals?
The rumors are all iPhone 16/Pro will be getting an A18/Pro. The A17 Pro was kind of a one-off with the difficult 3NB process. They won’t be reusing that process, so there won’t be another A17.I wonder if it will get a “regular” (non-“Pro”) version of the A17. Would be weird for Apple to release an A17 Pro and no other A17 chips until next year, assuming the base iPhone 16 gets the non-Pro A17.
The iPad mini needs FaceID.I agree with you size wise. I’ve had an iPad Mini, a 10.9” iPad and a 12.9” iPad Pro. The 12.9”, for me, is simply too big to be used in a practical way, as a tablet at least. The Mini and the 10.9” are a lot more easy to carry around and use as tablet while the Mini takes the crown for me.
Preferably the front!I’m hoping that the new Magic Mouse has a usb-c port in the front or back, which forces Apple to make the MM higher. Even with my medium sized hands the damn thing is too low profile.
Contact Apple support in your country. You can return it. Guarantee! No idea, I live in a country area and no Apple stores near me thus I order everything online direct from Apple Australia, in my 40 years of buying Macs I have never had this situation before, I read all the rumours and said no new MacBook Pros, and the day it turned up, I see Apple event pop up, UGH, I think its a bit rich that apple processed my order knowing full well these new M3 Macs were about to be released, and happily took my 6 grand, now I have to try and find a way to see if I can exchange it ? I AM VERY angry to be honest ! They should have delayed my order for a week, that would have been a better option.
Maybe wait till the weekend when the xmas returns window should open & have 2 months instead of 2 weeks to check it out & return it if needed.I'm buying a mini in the next few days, so I'm quite excited to see what happens tonight - if no new mini is announced and shipping reasonably soon, I'm buying a 6/256 tomorrow.
Aren’t they basically the same keys?I hope they upgrade the Magic Keyboard to feel like the new MBPs.
Don't rememeber that. But I'm old enough to remember seeing Thriller at the Avco Theater in Westwood, CA.Is Apple trying to outdo Michael Jackson's Thriller debut? lol
Whom here is old enough to remember getting school letters to take home informing their parents warning to accompany their children when watching the Thriller event?
Good times.
