iPad mini iPad Mini Retina Apple.com order thread [MERGED]

i didn't pay for extra shipping. I was able to get the mini in the store last night. Its pretty sweet. My wife loves it. I'm sticking with my Air.

1. Mass population isn't aware. Coworkers were clueless.

2. They seem to have focused efforts on 16 and 32 wifi models for quantity, and put cellular on back burner.

Also, it's only 24 hours. iPad Air is sold out. The dates have been pushed back on these.

Once, more people becomes aware, Mini will be sold out too.
 
Ok, so for FWIW, I just checked my Apple store account and the delivery dates have been bumped up to delivery by 11/20 to 11/27 with 2-3 day expedited shipping from a delivery date of 11/27-12/4. This is for the space gray 32GB ATT LTE model.

Plus the full holiday shopping swing isn't quite here yet. Give it time. Even the iPad Air's are starting to see strained stock.

Ordered 32GB WiFi (silver) on 11/12 - shipped from China via UPS and tracking shows Fri 11/15 delivery to MN. I had paid the extra $10.

Apple invoice still shows 11/19 delivery.

Mine shows that date too. :/ Wish it shipped like the iPhone 5s did. All shipping was express and I got it in 2 days. At least there will be be PS4 to tie me over :)

Cancelling order

My order status says "Preparing for shipment" to Montreal that Delivers: 25 Nov - 27 Nov by Standard Shipping. However, I was just able to reserve for pick-up for today 4pm. Looks like I cannot cancel anymore... or can I?

16GB Wifi model ordered at 7AM EST on the 12th has already shipped and arrives on the 18th with standard shipping.

32GB LTE (Verizon) ordered at 6:30AM EST on the 12th is still preparing for shipment.

I ordered the same model (along with a silver version for my mom) at 5:30AM CST & mine still shows the original Nov 26 - Dec 4 but I'm hopeful that will change. I went through this last year with the original mini & I think it didn't get here until after Thanksgiving but I don't remember for sure.

That is good news . Nothing on my side yet , same as yours but not ATT as it's for France where any carrier is OK .

Order Tues, mid morning. Finally got email at 8am central time today. UPS has it for Friday delivery - I paid the $10 extra.

Bad news. Just checked the order stays again and it went back to estimated delivery of 11/25-12/3. Bummer.
 
Ordered a 16GB Space Gray around 4 pm yesterday. It's already left China and should be here on Friday, according to UPS.
 
How are you guys getting deliveries on Friday? I ordered at 12:02am PST and mine says is in Hong Kong and says it will be delivered Tuesday, 11/19.
 
mine said was to arrive friday, but check again this morning and it says Monday by 8pm.

mine said that when they originally sent me a tracking number yesterday. I looked this morning and it's now Monday. Maybe they haven't gone back in and looked to confirm again?
 
Ordered 32GB Slate with Smart Cover

Just checked my tracking and it looks like I am due to receive both on Monday (18th).
 
Finally back on after being locked out due to iCloud not saving my generated password haha.

Anyways- canceled my order to pick one up! got a 64 so it was estimated november 26-dec 4th so I think the 16th (before all the early shipped ones) is fine with me!
 
Is it just me, or those who have UPS as their shipping carrier got Friday deliveries versus those who have FEDEX as the shipping carrier (me), get Monday delivery?
 
Mine shipped on Wednesday from Shenzhen, GD CN via FeEx International Economy, for Monday 11/19 delivery.
