iPad mini iPad Mini Retina Apple.com order thread [MERGED]

Ordered 64GB LTE Space Gray at 6am CDT:

Delivers: Nov 26 - Dec 4 by Standard Shipping​

Extra $10 would get it here one day earlier. Wonder if I should have? Might have increased chances of getting it before Thanksgiving weekend, and I can use that time to get everything configured just right and get some cases. Is it possible to change that?

I see there's an option online to change shipping address. Does anyone know if that will delay my order? In the hazy fog of ordering early in the morning, I had it ship to my work like I usually do. But I'm going to be off the 27th through the 2nd for the holiday so there's a good chance I'll miss it.

What sucks is I don't live near an Apple Store. But I went on a business trip today with some colleagues and drove right past the St. Louis Apple Store while going down south to one of our research centers. Could have ordered store pickup for a change! Bah!! :eek:
 
Checked my order status and it now says shipped. I did the 2/3 day shipping option. Mines UPS, the tracking number isn't active in their system yet. Interesting as I see a lot of FedEx in here. My case is being fedex'd.

If you call apple to change the delivery address, ask them if you can upgrade the shipping, they might do it for free. Some have had success. Doing either should not delay your order.

My 32GB WiFi shipped with an estimated delivery date of Monday, the 18th.

I can wait, as I ended up picking one up at the store today. :eek:
 
Status changed to shipped about 30mins ago.

Expected Delibery Friday 15 via UPS Express

Total geek here. Used the App and ordered at 12:00am straight up (California). Had my confirmation email in at 12:01am. Just got my shipping notification an hour or so ago. Leaving China tomorrow, should be here Monday via FedEx.

Silver, 32gb WiFi. Gift for my son. :)

16 gb wifi ordered at 3:17 ET just shipped via UPS. The email said expected delivery to the Midwest isn't until Thursday the 21st. Seems like an awful long time compared to everyone else in this thread :confused:

{edit} UPS tracking now says that it's departed Shenzhen with a delivery date of Tuesday the 19th.

I ordered literally minutes after the store went live at midnight (Black 16GB WiFi). Just got shipment notification a few minutes ago.

The UPS site does not have my tracking number in the database yet, but the email notification that I got still says that it will deliver on November 21. If that is accurate, that means it is coming straight from China then?

Wahh the UPS tracking number finally went live, delivery Monday. I was really hoping by friday! Interesting, it is shipping via UPS Worldwide Express Saver, which is supposed to be a 1-2 day delivery. Monday would but this at 4 business days. Maybe it'll change...

Ship notification received Wednesday morning.

Are the sims different for the cellular providers? I thought it was a one size fits all these days.

I would have opted for buying the cellular but seems Apple insists one selects a provider at time of purchase. Anyone can elucidate on the sim facet?

I'm actually a little comforted by the fact that ours are arriving from China. I know this is a long shot, but maybe ours will be made by Samsung/LG instead of Sharp. Wishful thinking I know :)
 
Ordered a 32 GB Silver Wifi at 5:30 a.m. CST Tuesday. Got shipment notification at 11:50 P.M same day - I did pay the $10 for expedited shipping. Ipad is coming via China through something UPS called "World Ease" and is scheduled for Friday 11/15.
 
I ordered the 32gb iPad mini verizon flavor and I'm sitting there with a 5-10 business day wait time.

Last year when ordering the mini, I didn't want to wait and thus got the wifi model. Of all the things, I regretted getting the wifi over the LTE because I was impatient. This year I vow that it will be different and I'll wait :D
