Mine starts with F4 and I can track it on the UPS site (my order status shows "Preparing for Shipment"). It's in Louisville now.

I ordered a 16GB Black (F4 serial number) and a Dark Grey Smart Cover. Order confirmed at 2:02 AM CT.

The Smart Cover was supposed to be delivered today, and I pre-signed for it, but UPS just left a note saying that it needs to be signed for!!?? Why my pre-sign form didn't work is beyond me, the Apple Store gave me the option, and I took it.

Anyway, hopefully tomorrow will work better.

No word on where my actual device is yet, though...

It has been interesting the last couple of days, my mini's apple store status is still preparing to ship. Actually, it is still with many others since last Sunday being held by Fed Ex at Middletown Pa, waiting for a release to shipping on assuming Thursday for the Friday delivery. Hopefully Hurricane Sandy's weather will be totally gone from the Harrisburg region by then.

And mini is in Kentucky, still scheduled for Friday!

Has anyone else noticed that smart covers are being delivered by 10:30 AM but the iPad Mini is by "end of day"?

Shipments are usually bulk regional. I have four 32GB white 4th gens ordered, and they're still "Preparing for shipment". I expect them to go out tonight or tomorrow morning.

Same!!! Just called Apple Support to ensure there was not an issue with my order and everything is on schedule (according to them). Hopefully tracking will pop up sooner than later!

My iPhone 5 quoted "end of day", but it actually arrived about 9:30 in the morning, 2 days earlier than promised. (This was several weeks after the release date.) The time you get it will mainly depend on the carrier's delivery schedule.

Damm ! i just made a little call to apple Canada ... and give them my information... i made my order at 12:00 by the app and he told me that there were a miss understood about the shipping and they will only release it on the november 2 for canadian... so not delivery on the 2

is that possible lol !

Apple Canada was saying similar things during the iPhone 5 launch. There's always a chance that you won't get your iPad on the 2nd, but if you look at the delivery map on Apple.ca and you're in Zone 1, you'll probably get it on Friday.
