My 16gb Black doesn't show up either

Live in TN.
Serial # is F4

Tried all the tricks and it doesn't show up under Fed Ex or UPS. Have always gotten from Fed Ex but if it ships from Brazil that might mean UPS. UPS will use weather or no weather always as an excuse even if it is thousands of miles away.
If it is UPS shipment I am guessing it won't arrive on quoted date of 11/2 if it is Fed Ex it will.

At least I have the serial # there is hope
 
I've been seeing that f4 in the serial number means it was manuf. in brazil...mine has f4, but shipped starting in China.
 
Hi guys, been following this thread for a while now.

I have a 16GB Black Wifi F4 and have no Tracking info like the rest of you.

However, I have tried putting in various combos of numbers and ref numbers on both the UPS and FedEx websites.

If I put in my mobile number/ref number in on the UPS site - I get 'Tracking info not currently available' any other number returns 'no tracking info' or whatever.

Which leads me to believe that UPS are delivering these units wherever they may be!

Oh and I'm in the UK.

Apple lists as "Preparing for Shipment".

However, if I go to FedEx, track by Reference Number, and use my Apple Store Web Order Number W(bunch of numbers), it finds all the devices, which are separate items and have separate tracking numbers. Granted, something like Delivery Status will list them as "Shipment information sent to FedEx".

Each of those is sitting in a warehouse in Pennsylvania, marked as "Future delivery requested" as of 11AM EST, Sunday. That's what I find if I go to each individual item's tracking page.

i cant track mine it doesnt recognise the tracking number (serial number) im in the uk anyone else have this problem?

I cant find mine either. showing as processing on the order status page, but I can get a serial number via the support page and the info via the other site
 
Apple Canada was saying similar things during the iPhone 5 launch. There's always a chance that you won't get your iPad on the 2nd, but if you look at the delivery map on Apple.ca and you're in Zone 1, you'll probably get it on Friday.

My order was at "preparing for shipment" for a couple days and now it's back to "processing items". I called Apple and the CSR assured me it would be here 11/2. Kind of weird that that the status reverted back, but she seemed confident that it would ship within the next day or so.
 
Easiest way to track shipping is to put in your phone number as a reference number on the FedEx main page. Make sure there are no dashes, parenthesis, or spaces.
 
In my orders screen, there's a paragraph about pre-signing for the shipment and it says to click a link above but I see no such link. Is it something that appears after the status is changed to "shipping"?

Once the order ships it will be on your order status page. They have to know the carrier and the Tracking number and that will already be inserted when you print it out.
 
Has anyone else noticed that smart covers are being delivered by 10:30 AM but the iPad Mini is by "end of day"?
WTF Apple!!??

Me too, I have a Mini coming "by end of day" and a Lightning to USB cable coming, the cable is set as "by 10:30".
Ill just leave instructions that I have a second order and if they can check the truck for it; trying to save them a second trip to my house later that day. *fingers crossed*

I ordered mine at like 11am on the 26th and it's been on preparing for shipment until it changed back to processing items like half an hour ago :mad:

still no serial number showing up either and tracking on either UPS or FedEx won't work..

EDIT: I ordered a black 32Gb iPad mini wifi

UPDATE: Showing as preparing for shipment again, still not showing on the support page and still can't find it on either ups or FedEx...

Unfortunately, I cannot seem to get my ipad mini to come up on either Fed Ex or UPS. Bummer. I ordered through the ap in literally the first thirty seconds of being live. I hope that I am doing it right - you do have to enter United States and my zip code on the Fed Ex site right?

Look back through previous posts in this thread. That's what I did. Many have offered various methods. I tried them all and finally found one that worked for me. Looks like different methods work for different people.

Seriously.. how dumb are these guys..They put their first try notice on my presigned leave at door delivery sheet. :D

Called to complain and they said it's driver discretion. That'd I'd complain if it was stolen too.. :eek:

My delayed shipping has been lifted

Hey,

I called FedEx (who will be delivering my iPad mini) and asked them to lift the shipping delay which was in set until Nov. 2. They lifted the future delivery request and said the package will be delivered overnight tomorrow (October 31) by 3:00pm. I'm really excited. They had no problem doing it so if you guy call you should get your iPad early. It is 1-800-GoFeDex.
