iPad mini iPad Mini with Cellular Pre-order Thread

Called and asked about expediting shipping since I won't be home on the 21st. Told me she couldn't do it and that while Apple offers free Standard Shipping, they actually express shipping on the back end.

A few minutes after my call, I received an email saying my order had changed. The rep gave me free two-day shipping. Not mad at that at all. Hopefully it arrives by the 20th.

Could be something wrong with their system. There have been some reports of reps telling customers this.
 
Still stuck at Processing with my 64GB AT&T Black model... Not showing up in support profile either and no luck tracking by reference at FedEx or UPS. For those on preparing for shipment are you able to track by ref or seeing your Mini on your support profile page?

Edit: And no activity on my cc yet either... bummer!!

Preparing for Shipment for the Ipad LTE model
Processing for the Mini LTE model, which was ordered earlier too.

Come on apple, slip in a freagin retina in the mini while you're working on it.. :D
 
They upgraded my AT&T Black 64 GB Mini to next day arriving on the 16th and it is still the 16th

From what I can tell, it is the full-sized iPads that are preparing for shipment & so far none of the Minis are.

I checked the support page -- neither of my items are there yet. And I can't find tracking but I wasn't able to find it for the WiFi mini that I got last week for my mother.
 
I for one and getting really excited to get my LTE mini, I've been using a wifi mini for the last week or so and feel so inhibited with worrying about finding wifi cause let's face it, these things are useless without a data connection. Here's hoping Apple ships our minis out soon!

I preordered my retina ipad the first day I could, and the mini just a few days ago. The mini shows it should arrive the 21st and the retina shows the 23rd.
 
Ahh okay was under the impression that some Minis were Preparing to Ship. So just to clarify - anyone here who ordered an LTE Mini - have you:

1) Seen recent credit card activity
2) Seen your status change to Preparing to Ship
3) Seen your Mini appear at supportprofile dot apple dot com?
4) Been able to track by reference at UPS or FedEx?

I'm a no for all four, 64GB Black AT&T Mini ordered at 12:03 PST on the first day.
 
I -just- ordered an LTE 32 mini in black at 8:45am on 11/11. My order says:
Available to ship: 2 weeks
Delivers Dec 3 via Standard Shipping

(Just for anybody still keeping track.)

ordered today aditional ipad mini
I got the wi-fi only on 11/2 and want to order the AT&T cell too delivery day 12/3
 
Ordered today and states a 12/3 delivery. I'm going to cancel and go into the Apple store on 11/16.
 
Best Buy?

I apologize if this has been asked before... This is going to be my first cellular iPad, so I was wondering based on past experiences, or anything else, if anyone had an idea when Best Buy may get it? I have a WiFi one, but planning on exchanging it for LTE when available.

I wouldn't think so. Apple does much better with stock these days, and I don't think the LTE version is the most popular version. Shouldn't need to line up. The only problem I could see is that they might run out of a certain size, but I think that even that would be a long shot.

It doesn't seem like any of the White ipads LTE are being delivered on the 16th yet could be something to do with the production on the colors.

Does anyone have a white LTE that changed to Nov 16?

My white one shows to be shipping
 
I ordered 2 Verizon LTE 32gb mini's at 3am ET on the pre-order day. My order shows 5 day shipping with delivery on 11/21 which is ridiculous.

I called, and they refuse to expedite the shipping, even if I pay, however, the rep did offer me 2 free smart covers to remedy things. Can't complain about that I guess!
 
I ordered a 64GB black Verizon LTE mini less that two minutes after available to order. Still shows as processing, available to ship 5 business days, delivers by 11/21.
