Ordered a "Slate Pro." leather back cover for mine:
http://www.storyleather.com/smart-p...ther-slate-back-cover-for-apple-ipad-pro.html

I chose the "Smooth Fine Grain" in white to go with my midnight blue leather smart cover. I think the smooth fine grain is the closest match to the leather Apple uses for their leather smart covers.

Ships from China/Taiwan in 30 days... shipping isn't even free:

https://www.bbb.org/losangelessilic...127/reviews-and-complaints?section=complaints

On the plus side, you could upload the Apple logo for $10.

So they dont actually make their products the just order them from China? I read the complaints and here is a company that when a customer challenges the materials and quality their first thought is to sue?
I hadn't read their reviews on Yelp until today and now that I have, I would stay away from this company. At the BBB though, five complaints over three years isn't too bad.

Still going to wait and see what this back cover from them is like as I don't see any other white back covers aside from Khomo's which is a glossy plastic.

I just read some of those, too. Some of the responses from the company were quite heavy-handed, IMO.

Just found and bought the Tech21 back case for 10.5. Just like the 9.7 version, it's great and comes with a pencil holder.

Think it just arrived bc it's not listed on Apple Store online. Yes, it does fit the Smart Covers and Smart Keyboard.

Cost around $69 or so. It's a bit pricey but protects well and is a perfect fit!

Where did you find it? At an Apple Store?

I sent them a message asking when the 10.5 would be available and received a replay saying that they were not going to continue that type of case for the 10.5. I ordered a Luvvitt case from Amazon which is due to arrive today.

Edit: They probably meant they would not be making a case without a pencil holder.

I have tried out 3 cases:

1. Luvvitt clear TPU case: As many have noted, the original case did not fit when using the Apple Smart Keyboard and Cover. To their credit, they sent me a new case that corrected that problem, but two of the corners fit poorly around the device and do not leave a lip. It impairs the fit and finish of the cover.

2. CTsing TPU case: I had to hack this case to make it work with the Apple Smart Keyboard and Cover. I cut the front cover off, cut the sides so it would fit the Apple Smart Keyboard and Cover. Because the area cutout around the lightning connector wasn't large enough, I cut the case so it would work. I did not like the power and volume up/down buttons covered, however.

3. Khomo case: This is the best of the 3. It fits perfectly on the iPad. All of the corners have lips around them and the color is a perfect match for the Apple Smart Keyboard and Cover. It has a nice soft feel to it. The only negatives are: (1) that it is a hard shell case and (2) it is hard to open the covers with the case on (but as one person suggested, I use the cutout around the lightning connector to flip open the cover.

I went to an Apple Store in NJ. Perhaps it's a case by case basis on if they have them and what the store staff knows. Maybe it's worth stopping by in person bc that's the only way I found out about it.

Does anyone have the Khomo charcoal grey case:
http://amzn.to/2t2mUdx

with a picture of the ASK on it? There may be pics in this thread, but with 30+ pages I really don't want to look. Was curious as to how this looks/performs (not as in performance, but is it seamless, no problems opening or closing, etc.).

Are there any folio-style cases compatible with smart keyboard (aside from the ones from pad and quill) for the 10.5?

I looked around this thread a bit and I didn't see anything that fit the bill though I may have missed it.

Kind of expensive, but at least you will get there with the top of your pen still intact

Looks massive and covers the bezels, which will likely impact usability. How many pencil tips can you buy for that price?

My MoKo “Translucent Slim Hard Plastic Bumper Protector/Back Cover” arrived today. I doubt that it provides a lot of drop protection. But, it lines up fine and works with the ASK. At least the cover will keep the back from getting scratched till I can find something better.

With both the ASK & the case, the iPad feels heavy. I’ll probably remove the ASK when I’m using the iPad and not the keyboard. (I’ve been keeping it attached all the time.)

That is really nice find. Tech21 web site or their Facebook don't even mention it.

Quick question for you --- how does the Apple pencil holder attach to the case? Is it easy to detach and attach?

Thanks.

Cool. Thank you. So a pretty good fit? About the same as the Apple case/ASK?

Exact fit. There's no overlap with the cover. It's easier opening the ASK cover than the Smart Cover. With the ASK, open it at the top or bottom right corners of the cover. With the Smart Cover, I use the opening above the lightning connector to flip the cover open.

Was at the Apple Store (Canada) today, and they had the STM Dux Plus case for the iPad Pro 10.5". It is not the nicest looking case, but it seems to have decent protection, overall. It looks a lot like the 9.7" case. I have concerns about the back stand portion. They let me put one of their iPads in it, but I wasn't able to get a good test of it at the store. The internal Apple Pencil holder was descent.

Does anyone have any experience with this case of the 9.7" iPad Pro one? Is the stand any good? Can you put a tempered glass screen protector on it? The case appears to cover quite a lot of the bezel, from a quick look.

Been also looking at the upcoming Sena case (Future Folio), but I am not sure if their quality is what it was in 2009, the last time I bought one of their cases. I believe they are now owned by Targus and their products are probably all imports, but there is not many nice leather folios available to someone from Canada and it has free shipping.

Also looking for the Smart Cover compatible Luvvitt clear TPU back cover, but it is not yet available in Canada and the Amazon USA doesn't ship to where I live. Does anyone know if this case works with a tempered glass screen protector?

I wish this case didn't have the cheesy branding. For $69, you'd think they could leave this off?

How heavy is it?
