Employees were supposed to be trained on iPad Pro by 11/6, and yesterday Eddy Cue said on stage with the Dropbox dude, "...just a few more days..."

That still doesn't answer the question as to why Apple has been SO quiet about his particular launch.

That's what I've been hearing but I've also heard the 11th. Who knows??? I'm not sure why Apple won't announce the release date.

Too trivial. The next thread speculating on when the Pro will be released will be posted within about five minutes. I'm tired of threads speculating on when the Pro will come out. I want conspiracy theories about the iPad Pro. I want to read why it's really an evil plot of some sort. How about this: The larger footprint means there's a lot of empty space inside, and they've filled that space with that green gas that spurts out of the barrel at the beginning of Return of the Living Dead (sorry for the ROTLD spoiler, but it's right at the start of the film) and if you open your new iPad Pro you will start the zombie apocalypse.

Honestly no.

Best Buy's just got Zagg screen protectors that are street dated 11/08/15. So it comes in next week. Not to mention no other accessories have appeared in retail channels (they come a few days before release accessories wise.)

Not at all. The latest release date possible is Nov 8. It's confirmed by Target's system.

If Target is anything like other retailers, November 8th means that's the week it'll be set. It can not be on the floor or anywhere at all except warehouse prior to the 8th. Then, during the week, it'll be set. Can't be after. can't be before.

I doubt it'll be the 8th. First, it's a Sunday. Second, review embargoes haven't even been lifted. I think the 11th makes a lot more sense, with reviews out on the 9th

I agree. Also if we don't get to pre order by tonight (friday the 6th), then I'm guessing, oddly, there forgoing pre orders all together for some strange reason!
