Again. Customers should not accept less than the best with Apple, from the packaging to the buttons on the device to the little pieces of wrap holding the earbuds. This is a PREMIUM product and Apple goes to great lengths to express that. It permeates their organization. Steve Jobs even had last say on the thickness and "feel" of the cardboard packaging devices came in. The whole experience, to him, was when you pick up an Apple product from the time it is still in its box your experience was "wow - this is the best - this is premium". Why do you think the devices are so carefully wrapped to protect the screens and finishes? Wrapped I might add WAY more thoughtfully than competitors.
Answer this, what would Jobs say to an employee who told him "we make a consumer product - people should put up with screens with failed pixels and uneven color - its ridiculous to expect perfect"? Yeah. Thought so.
