All I want from the new iPad Pro is for Apple to finally make the default landscape and not portrait with the camera fixed accordingly. I could care less about wireless charging because my Magic keyboard charges the iPad.

It will be very soonish!

Landscape Face ID camera and allow disable quick notes from popping up is all I want In a new iPad. It’s already great!

Wireless charging on iPads is so useless. The Smart Connector is right there for a MagSafe-like implementation.

I'll be on the lookout for a 2022 Air or a used 2021 Liquid Retina XDR in good condition.

A big iPad Air fan, the only thing I would really want to improve in it would be its screen. IMO, OLED would be great, with its deeper and more uniform blacks. Will be curious to see what they come up with.
I'd love to see a 2022 iPad Air with the Liquid Retina XDR in the smaller form factor, without promotion and the amount of power and ram of the pro.
Basically an updated Air with the liquid retina XDR screen.
I'd 1000% snag one of those.

iPad Air update will be minor. Ultrawide front cam, A15, 5G, new colours.

Every time I go to the Apple store and play with the iPads there, I still can't find a reason to upgrade from my 2017 iPad Pro 12.9. I remember a friend and their kids were visiting and they had this old iPad that was no longer getting updates, but they sure had a lot of fun playing games on it. iPads are just built to last, they are killer devices. Sure, if you are the techy enthusiast and need to have the latest and greatest, even though minimal you always find the reason to upgrade; more power to you. But for the average user who these devices originally targeted, in most cases when you have one already your upgrades are always gonna be long in the tooth. No matter how many here in the forums and Tim Cook wants to spin it, they are glorified media consumption devices.

wireless charging, even a MagSafe, seems like just ticking a box. It doesn't sound very useful given the form factor and size of the charging pucks, just seems like a literal balancing act.

I was as leery on here as anyone re: blooming, but I haven‘t seen any blooming on the Mac Pro with mini led, so i imagine it isn‘t a big deal in actual use on the iPad Pro either.

Its insulting to Apple's customers that wireless charging (which has been around for a decade now in mainstream) still isnt on the ipad "Pro".

I much prefer aluminum over glass in terms of haptics. The glass back will likely also increase the weight, as it did with iPhones.

Oh, cool, wireless charging on yet another device! Maybe this one will use a fourth incompatible standard, since the current standards supported by Apple devices are:
1. MagSafe for iPhone
2. MagSafe 3 for MacBook Pro
3. Qi for iPhone

Put me down as proposing MagSafe 4 for the new iPad.

It's on the kindle fire tablets.
It's on some of them. I had a Fire HD10 which had an awful noise issue with the microphone when I tried to use it on a Zoom conference. I realized that when you buy a $100 tablet, you get a $100 tablet, so sold it and got another iPad instead.

That's going to be one huge MagSafe. ;)
