A revised 3rd generation iPad released this month could mean that the fourth generation will come out in the fall of 2013.
Won't have 3G. How else will they market/sell iPad Mini 2 in a year?
Agreed.
I don't need 4G on the iPad Mini, but I do need at least 3G. No 3G means no GPS and compass which means de facto no maps. It also means unreliable iClouud access, and obviously, unreliable web browsing and email.
Bam, the 3 things I really wanted from this device.
Apple, when would we got this cute little thing?
I think most ppl understand how gps works its just in most cases for tablets the mapping is updated by data connection and all the maps are not stored on the device like on a stand alonegps unit so therefore so wifi only wouldnt include gps
Way to dump on everyone in the UK that just bought a new iPad, buying in to all of that "spectrum is fragmented, won't be available for a few years yet" jargon.
Thanks, Apple!
Yes GPS is a separate device/chip/whatever, my Garmin GPS doesn't have 3G but finds satellites just fine.Because most people do not understand how GPS really works...

I can't see the point in upgrading the uk model only, especially when the ipad 4 is o ly a few months away.
New iPads and an iPad Mini just before Christmas could be good for Apple.

from 80% to 50%, you call that an increase?
