Are you talking about iPhone 6 Plus launch? I can still see iPhone 11 available, it’s failed launch - it’s ok if you don’t agree with larger crowd here.
Nope I'm talking about the 11 series as a whole. A lot of stuff is already sold out for the release date, just look it up on their website. A lot of gold stuff is left, not popular at all this time around.

Apple Watch shipped yesterday. Sitting in a Anchorage since yesterday. Apple still says “preparing to ship”

Anyone here pre order with Bell?

On the same day that iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max pre-orders began, some customers are already beginning to see their order statuses shift from "processing" to "preparing to ship" on Apple's website.

Once an order has reached "preparing to ship" status, it can no longer be canceled, although customers still have 14 days to return the iPhone upon receiving it for a full refund. Once orders reached "shipped" status in the United States, they can usually be tracked on UPS's or FedEx's websites.

If your order has a Friday, September 20 delivery estimate, but has yet to reach "preparing to ship" status, this should change over the next few days. To check the status of your order, visit the Order Listing page on Apple's website.

The first deliveries to customers and in-store availability will begin Friday, September 20.

Discuss your iPhone pre-order in the MacRumors forums.

I ordered mine by 08:05 EST but couldn't get a SEP 20 estimate.
Excited to see others are preparing to ship already though.
Hopefully you will get yours on the 20th. I ordered same config (256 Max Midnight Green) albeit through the iPUP at 5:10 PST and got SEP 20 estimate.

Curious how you got your tracking information before Apple provided it to you? :)
Two ways, either you can track your package using the UPS Track by Reference option, or if you’re a member, sometimes you may or may not get notifications that something will be shipped to you. I just checked UPS My Choice and as it turns out, I do have something lol. My Pro is currently awaiting shipping in China, and in the coming days, some of us with itchy fingers will figure out the exact flight numbers that our Apple products are in.

In other cases, Apple may ship using Fedex or some other shipping company depending on your location.

What do they typically use for reference number when tracking? I tried my phone number, order number, and order number without the last 2 numbers. Am I missing something? Maybe mine hasn't generated a label yet. I tried this for both UPS and Fedex. I have accounts with both of them. :)

I usually use my phone number that’s associated with my Apple Store account.

Since I’m a UPS My Choice member, I get notifications on incoming deliveries, or in this case, I can quickly find out if I’m getting something.

Another way would be to use your order number, but delete the last two numbers, though it may not work 100% of the time.

In either case, I would check from time to time until Tuesday just to be sure. Apple doesn’t send the official tracking number until Wednesday (assuming you have launch day delivery), but by then your package will be at or near the major hub in your region. For myself, the major hub is in Louisville, KY.

I think the general buzz and hype that came with every new iPhone has fizzled. Times change, iPhones are no longer the device that feel more premium than other smartphones phones. There are now phones that simply feel and look more premium and higher end than iPhones. I've purchased 2 Note 10+ at $1500 each. I just can't imagine spending that much for an iPhone now. Not after the experience of using a Note. Not a chance. It even seems there's weaker demand for the new iPhones.

I'll never understand why Android owners visit Apple forums to rant about devices they don't own.

I got excited when I saw my order was “preparing to ship”. I wasn’t expecting to get my new iPhone on release day. I put in my password to see the details, and the first thing that I saw on the refreshed page was “Arrives Wed Sep 18”!

That can’t be right.

Then I realized I was looking at the shipping information for the Silicone case. :(

The new iPhone itself is still scheduled to arrive Oct 1 — Oct 4. I hope those dates don’t slip. I’ll be out of the country for nine days starting Oct 5.

My Pro Max Green 256 was ordered thru ATT, at 6:50am CST and still shows In Progress. The only thing that has changed over the past day has been delivery date. It was initially showing the 19th, but now it’s the 20th. Not that I expected it to deliver a day early.

I wonder when ATT and the other carriers get their initial allocation? I would think they’d need to have stock in warehouses by Wednesday to get them into their system prior to shipping on Thursday.

And Apple probably did lose some customers to Android during their years of coasting on the same iPhone 6 design and iOS malaise.

UGH, finally someone who agrees with me. I bought the iPhone 8 Plus when it came out, and was so disappointed coming from the 7 Plus in terms of what “upgrades” they gave, along with the mounds and mounds of slop in iOS 10/11, I jumped to the Pixel 2 XL. Absolutely wonderful device and Android Oreo absolutely closed the gap with iOS IMHO, even surpassing it in some areas such as animation smoothness and general lack-of-jank.

I came back a month after the XS Max dropped. Thankfully Apple seems to have started to get the message their software was on a downhill track with iOS 12, and now iOS 13 is fairly good.

Still have that Pixel, and it runs just like it did on day 1 even after a few years and the upgrade to Android 10...

Ordered the 11 Pro Max, and will be putting it through its’ paces almost immediately after it arrives; I’m headed out to Banff on the 25th.

In store pick up for me. The Apple Store is just next to my office.:D
Don’t get embarrassed if all the staff start clapping for you when you pick it up. Ahh the good ol’ days lol

The ugly phones are shipping. The ugly phones are shipping!
The three lenses look so cool. Makes the phone look like a retro film camera in a modern slick looking gadget. Cool design. Very clever.
