Honestly, if the order is showing with the correct date, you're fine. I wouldn't focus too much on status until mid next week.
yeah I got the usual problem in central Illinois, where however my phone connects to apple nodes, it took 8 minutes. Then I got on did the order but got a warning payment info needed? WTF, I did the preapproval Tuesday and that was confirmed with my credit card and citizens. so had to reenter I suspect another 5 minutes or so. Anyway it slipped to 9-27 to 10-1 for delivery. Was hoping to join opening day party oh well such a terrible first world problem LOL
Yea me too. At opening, my order went through without a hitch, but I was looking for my case order about a half hour later, and it just spun endlessly.
You're toast buying cases right now.
I strongly recommend going and getting a cheap holdover from Amazon.
My current phone has 512, so I would certainly not want less. Disappointed they didn't have 1tb this year.

Glad I got launch day. I have a conference in Nashville the week of the 23rd. Would suck not to have the device by then.
It's pretty common for later delivery dates to get pushed up.
I ordered through Apple and had a problem because I apparently still owed $7.17 on my AT&T Next Every Year plan, so by the time I paid that and went back to the Apple Store app to order I got an October 4-11 delivery date. I feel like I could cancel that order and get it more quickly through AT&T, but I'm reading that you can't do the Next Every Year plan directly through AT&T anymore.
Yes they have big selection of all kinds. Mine came yesterday along with a belt holster I wanted (my old one was for x-Xs so needed the new Max size) I got a nice spigen clear case photos below just for example

Ok - so we ordered at 7 am central time before we went to work - received 9/20 delivery confirm for a 256 11Pro Midnight Green and also a 256 11Pro Silver. Was in a hurry to check out obviously so we punted on cases for the moment.

YAY! I’ve always had launch-day delivery except for once, so I didn’t know if my hope for an earlier delivery was ill-conceived or not. Fingers crossed!!
I've always received my orders sooner than the stated date (when I don't get launch day). That range seems to be the second batch, so there's a decent chance that you'll get it on launch day.

I ordeered a black leather case Wednesday, for Friday delivery, got the email, etc, and the web site say "arrives Sept 13th, yet no tracking number and its still in "order received" - not even processing. Weird. The web site could be behind, but still odd.

Similar, we leave for vacation Saturday morning (7 am flight) so needed luanch day to have for Cape Cod - really want to try the ultra wide there so pumped about launch day.
