Do delivery dates really move up?

I couldn’t get in right away and got a 9/27 to 10/1 delivery date.

My order was placed within 10 minutes of the store opening. ‍♂️

I mean sometimes yes, sometimes no. It's really a crap shoot. I am surprised at the 10 minute mark - this was not supposed to be a major update, and from the read of the forums (I know - such a tiny sample size), a lot of people passing, so surprised that it went so quickly. We checked out at 7:02 central time.

I ordered for pickup at the Apple Store for the first time on iPhone Upgrade Program for an ATT account.

I’m an authorized user so hope it’s easy to do. I have been on iUP for years but never done pickup.

Anything weird about the loan approval or authorized user pickup I should know?

I've always received my orders sooner than the stated date (when I don't get launch day). That range seems to be the second batch, so there's a decent chance that you'll get it on launch day.

Yes I have seen this. Hoping my September 27 - October 1 (the second batch) will do same for me.

Well after really putting my 7+ through its paces over the last 3 years and enjoying a very cracked screen the last 3 months a midnight green pro max will be its replacement! I was going to go through t-mobile but i got pre-approved through Apple so why not. Honestly being pre-approved and having my order already picked out made the process very quick and smooth for myself.

ordered right at 7am.... wifes (purple 11) on my phone and mine (red 11) on my computer.

Wifes went through in 5 minutes... mine took 30

Both are showing 'We're working on your order' with a delivery of 9/19 (oddly)

Has anyone had any trouble accessing their order? I ordered right at 8:03am est and was able to get an 11 pro silver 512 and received my confirmation email and everything and even says delivery on the 20th. Now I check my account and it won’t display my order and even on apple.com when I put in my order number it says the information does not match our records. Sooooo where did my order go? Lol

Yep. It'll show back up mine did about 30 minutes later. I would imagine they are just slammed like every year and it takes some time for things to update.

I ordeered a black leather case Wednesday, for Friday delivery, got the email, etc, and the web site say "arrives Sept 13th, yet no tracking number and its still in "order received" - not even processing. Weird. The web site could be behind, but still odd.

I ordered my Forest Green leather same day and have tracking information from FedEx.

I am finally able to see my order. I got pre-approved and received an email that it was approved and now my order says it’s on hold and once my application gets approved they’ll email me an updated delivery date. What the heck? I though that was the point of the pre-approval?! This is frustrating because I’m leaving out of country on the 24 so if this gets delayed I might have to cancel and reorder when I return 2 weeks after
