I hope Apple pushes for the 20th so I can at least have the weekend to enjoy the phone. Sigh

I use iCloud Photo Library and Optimize Storage options on mine so 64GB is plenty with my $3 iCloud plan. iCloud is cheaper than buying a bigger storage iPhone anyway.
No, it's not. It's my trade-in package for the iUP: UPS tracking clearly states that it's the "Apple Trade-In Outbound". It departed Middletown PA yesterday at 10:17 PM. My case will arrive for pickup at the Apple Store today.
Also, I see that my Apple Watch 5 departed Shanghai 9/13 at 8:53 PM their time.
Ordered at 7:01 CDT this morning. 11 Pro Max, 256GB, Space Gray. IUP, had pre-approval, got a delivery date of the 20th. Like others, that order now shows as on hold pending application approval. I've also received my approval email, and have been charged.
Fingers crossed that this doesn't push delivery dates back. It would suck to lose my 20th date because of some communication errors between Apple and Citizens.

Same difference - just was trying to make the point that it was clearly not about the phone.
I ordered using the app on my phone... the thing didn't actually allow orders until 5:03 AM and it took me five minutes to place the order thanks to the phone not correctly remembering my Apple ID password. By the time I got it placed, I ended up with a Sept 27-Oct 1 date. Pretty miffed. This is for an AT&T 11 Pro Max 256gb Midnight Green.
Also, I ended up having to order at full price instead of using the AT&T New Every Year that I've done for the last two. So I'll just sell off the old phone and not have the larger monthly payment. And next year I'll switch back to Verizon.

Backing them up so there isn’t a need to keep them on the phone. My pics get backed up on my computer, my connected backup drive, my cloud backup IDrive, and to my web server. Four copies. If need be I can pull them up trough IDrive or my server. No need to carry them all on my phone at all times. I use a 64gb phone and use maybe half of the space. It’s mostly podcasts and music.

I agree it is cheaper to get 200 GB storage and a 64 GB phone. It helps the cost because I add Apple care

Ordered at 8:01am EST when the store showed up for me. Already had pre-approval for a new enroll. Ordered the phone in probably 15 seconds or less. Did ship to home. Got the 256B Midnight Green iPhone 11 Pro Max.
Status shows order placed. Showing it's processing and standard delivery Friday September 20th. I did get a charge on my AMEX from Apple. Seems like everything went through for me. Hoping everything goes well for everyone else.
It's gonna be a long week. Next week of work is probably going to be rough for me so i've got this to look forward to.

I'm in the same boat! I ordered the 11, 256gb, Green. I had pre-approval and a delivery date of the 20th. My order was first "on hold" then went to "processing" and now it's back to "on hold" again. I did get an approval email from Citizens and they charged my card. I'm really hoping that it's just the crush of all the traffic and everything will be fine after the dust settles.
