I did get an approval email from Citizens and they charged my card. I'm really hoping that it's just the crush of all the traffic and everything will be fine after the dust settles.

I have the direct opposite. I have the pending charge from Apple for the Taxes but nothing from Citizens (no email of loan terms) and my order has always shown as "on hold" as soon as I could see the Order detail.

IUP was pre-approved yesterday so who knows what those goofy servers are doing today.

That's a hold on your account. It will be lifted in the next couple of days. You don't get charged until the device ships.

One of the benefits of living in New Hampshire.... we don’t have state/town sales tax... we don’t have state income tax either. Helps keep the phone cost down a little bit.

I am finally able to see my order. I got pre-approved and received an email that it was approved and now my order says it’s on hold and once my application gets approved they’ll email me an updated delivery date. What the heck? I though that was the point of the pre-approval?! This is frustrating because I’m leaving out of country on the 24 so if this gets delayed I might have to cancel and reorder when I return 2 weeks after

We went smaller this year and got 64gig. We have been using less than half of that on our current phones. 1 max Pro and 1 11. Why pay for that extra storage when you are not using it.

From what I hear the charge you are seeing is a hold that Apple puts on your account to ensure that the funds are actually available and that the charge would go through. The hold should go away in a day or so and then the real charge should be coming when the phone in fact ships. This should clear that up.

FYI - I am seeing the same charge on my debit card for the full amount on the phone, exactly as I expected.

Storage space and ram are two different things. The storage space doesn’t affect speed

Okay folks. They're not charging you until it ships. That's bush-league bulls**t to charge you before the order has even been processed. Apple is not on that level. Grief. JFC.

storage capacity is not RAM. both pro models have 6gb ram (this is unconfirmed, some sites say 4)
