Storage space and ram are two different things. The storage space doesn’t affect speed

From what I hear the charge you are seeing is a hold that Apple puts on your account to ensure that the funds are actually available and that the charge would go through. The hold should go away in a day or so and then the real charge should be coming when the phone in fact ships. This should clear that up.

FYI - I am seeing the same charge on my debit card for the full amount on the phone, exactly as I expected.

Okay folks. They're not charging you until it ships. That's bush-league bulls**t to charge you before the order has even been processed. Apple is not on that level. Grief. JFC.

Got charged tax and received my loan email from CitizensOne. My order is back "on hold" with Applt, but I assume thats because of the heavy traffic on their servers. Come on Friday the 20th!!

For those that have done Apple store pickups on release day in the past, how is it? Do I just show up during my scheduled window, get my phone, and go or should I expect to be there early or be waiting a while?

Got my Order Confirmation and my Citizens One Confirmation. Apple Order Status Page says on hold. So I've now noticed it going from processing > on hold > processing > on hold again.

Anyways, got my IUP 11 Pro Max Silver 64GB (T-Mo) order in by 8:02am EST and did pre approval 2 nights before, but my order showed "On Hold" at first. Then I got my approval email a few mins later and seen it said "Processing". Keep in mind the whole time it showed Sep 20 delivery (woohoo!), except now it's back to "On Hold" and shows no delivery date.

I see some of you are in the same boat. Let's hope it doesn't affect our deliveries

Wouldn’t be preorder day without some weirdness. New order time so “maybe” this happens all the time but we are going to or back to sleep.

Last year with the S4 I had the same problem, the My Choice app refused to present my local CC as an option. I had to get on my Mac and use desktop Safari to do it, and it was like the 38th choice presented.

So weird, using FireFox, Safari, Chrome, only shows me the first 15 locations, no other options. CC always showed up before.
Is there some trick to forcing it to show all locations?

storage capacity is not RAM. both pro models have 6gb ram (this is unconfirmed, some sites say 4)

I get your point, and you're like 98% right. If you run out of storage a computer does slow down.

Ordered when the store opened up, had the pre approval, previous UP, Was on Hold, got the citizens approval, CC charged, on Hold, now showing processing. 2 x 256G max Pro Green. Delivery scheduled for the 20th.

I ordered in store pickup for the 20th and my email says the 20th. But I'm in Buffalo and its probably not a super high volume store, like NY, LA, Chicago etc...

I’m in BUF as well, and oddly when I just checked on a random configuration, Victor (Rochester) is showing more availability than the Galleria. This will be my 3rd year picking up at the UPS CC down on Bailey on launch day

I think servers are back up. My processing order shows, no secondary holds or whatever still on the 9-27 to 10-1 delivery but it could change in a couple days.

Got my IUP approval shortly after order. Received citizens approval email. Now got an email from Apple saying action required, I need to update payment info. However nothing has changed on the status page still shows order placed.
Anyone know what is going on?
