FYI. Order status mixed across devices: web, iPad app and iPhone app. I don’t think any are the same. One is on hold one is processing and one order placed.

ha - on mine, it looks like apple store confirmed is blue. apple store pending is yellow. Eating out is orange and gas is blue. Maybe the card will turn blue when it actually posts instead of pending

Actually I am realizing that the two charges are just for tax for both iPhones. One on IuP and the other just iPhone payments.

I’m in BUF as well, and oddly when I just checked on a random configuration, Victor (Rochester) is showing more availability than the Galleria. This will be my 3rd year picking up at the UPS CC down on Bailey on launch day

I've been doing in store the last few years. It takes the "UPS messed up" factor out of the equation and since they charge at time of pickup, fraud protection won't foul things up either.

So weird, using FireFox, Safari, Chrome, only shows me the first 15 locations, no other options. CC always showed up before.
Is there some trick to forcing it to show all locations?

I don’t remember exactly, but I do recall having to do some voodoo or use a specific filter or something. I got to the point I was about to call them, and then there it was.

Mine says that too! Are you in the iPhone upgrade program too? I haven’t received my confirmation email yet either.

Same here. Tried in store first which had stock but no open registration times open.

Also what a pain in the a@@ paying with Apple Card. Had to go find the number in the wallet app. You would think the Apple store app could pull that info in..

I got this too right away, then I got the email confirming and all was well, but now it says this again. I hope it's because it's launch day and tomorrow it will be ok.

EDIT: I just got an email from Citizens One saying the loan was approved, and now mine is no longer in hold status.

For those that have done Apple store pickups on release day in the past, how is it? Do I just show up during my scheduled window, get my phone, and go or should I expect to be there early or be waiting a while?

Stores usually have two lines - the long "waiting to buy a phone" line and a very short "preordered, here for pickup at my timeslot" line.

I hope Apple pushes for the 20th so I can at least have the weekend to enjoy the phone. Sigh

Yup, if you show up with a time, you get to essentially jump to a shorter line

I’m upgrading on the IUP. Ordered exactly at 5 for in store pickup. Got order email from Apple shortly after..

However status still only shows “ORDER PLACED” not processing. and have not received my new CITIZENS ONE loan.

depends. if you got release day delivery, the phones are likely in USA already. Which means it could start shipping on Thursday.

I just show up a couple of minutes before my window. Here you check in with a person with an iPad and hop in line. It's typically very quick. They'll send someone out to grab you and then you go in and get your phone. You can either wrap up the transaction and leave or they'll let you set it up. The whole process from getting in line to walking out is quick.

Storage space and ram are two different things. The storage space doesn’t affect speed

I thought the same, but the rumor is Pro has 6GB RAM vs regular 4GB.

No clue.... I don't recall the on hold status last year or the year prior so it may be new for this year.
