Both mine just changed to Processing!!! iPhone 11 Pro Max 64GB Verizon x2
or the 30$ one time upgrade fee, even when you don't buy from them, they literally do nothing and collect 30$
Same flow as ours but no watch, and we got 64GB Maxes in Green and Gold. Flowed totally smooth with the preapprovals auto filling. Longest part was picking the Pickup Date and Timeslot.I had a nightmare with pre-order last year (somehow, despite preapproval, it went through as a new iUP instead of an upgrade/trade-in, and was a huge mess to fix) so was relieved at how smooth it went this year.
Got in right at 5am, picked my store pick-up time to match the pickup time for my Series 5 watch, and had the confirmation email 14 minutes later. Citizens approval email came a couple of hours later, and order is in Processing. iPhone 11 Pro Max in Space Gray. I'm usually on the new color bandwagon, but the green just didn't wow me this year. Maybe I'll regret it once I see them in person...we'll see.
I love the vibe of the Apple store on launch day, but I do miss the fun of tracking all the flights from China across the world.![]()
Thank you for sharing that! do you have a promo code? lol i dont want to pay $5.00 or $40.00.
Last year, I was able to do the hold at the distribution center nearest me. I've had MyChoice for years now, and have used it at least the last 3 years that I can recall. Worked great, other than getting a message about a "hold" or "tentative date" (something like that) but it cleared and I showed up at the UPS CC, and as I was in line it pinged that my order was ready for pickup. There were a couple of folks ahead of me. They needed to get them moved from across the street.
I dont think there is any way to avoid the upgrade fee other than switching carriers.
AND you wont pay any upgrade fee either.. Verizon doesnt need to know...Great thread! I ordered Verizon iPhone Pro Max 256gb space gray at 8:03, and already was kicked back to Oct 1-4 delivery. But after reading this thread, I discovered that the UNLOCKED phones with same specs were available for Sept 20 deliver, so cancelled order, reordered unlocked, and will then just move the SIM card over.... nice!
Sure there are a couple of ways but both involve paying full price at time of purchase vs payments. The payment terms are what requiring you to activate the device with a carrier which triggers the "Upgrade" fee.I dont think there is any way to avoid the upgrade fee other than switching carriers.
I don't think they charge your card until they ship your phone.Am I the only one who placed a store pickup iUP order for launch day and still doesn’t have a tax charge or anything on my credit card?
Other people got charge hours ago no?I don't think they charge your card until they ship your phone.
Membership has a fee for $40.00What are you doing to that they are making you pay $40? Are you signing up for a premium service? You don't need to have the premium service. Signing up for UPS My Choice is FREE.
I ordered the same exact thing as soon as the store went live and my date is sep 27th - oct 1st. Weird.Ordered at 10:57am PST. I thought delivery would be much later since I was ordering this late, but I can wait. Still, I got a 9/20 delivery date. Either demand isn't as high, or the supply is sufficient. Either way, yay for me.
