The Apple Store app and the web wouldn’t load for me either until about 7:07 or so. I am surprised I got the 20th date. I ordered the silver pro 64 GB.

Silver and Gold appear to be the slower sellers this year.

It was slow enough I could order one through IUP and then schedule a pickup at the Apple Store for a Max.

Same here. Store app wasn’t loading until about 5:06am and then smoothly went through the process and done by 5:07am. 11 Pro Max in Midnight Green for 9/20 delivery.

Disappointed that at 5:03 my pre approval was already a Sept 27. Silver 256 iPhone 11. Ordered it. Went back and ordered a 64 Green for sept 20 pick up. May jts go with green 64 since I have 64 now and still have 26 gigs remaining.

Thats interesting, my order confirmation came in at 5:03 AM and got first day ETA.

yes a number are getting this. Given i was in before 10 minutes after maybe it will change to the 20th. Currently at 9-27 to 10-1

Does Apple now use UPS? In the past all my shipments from Apple have been via FEDEX. In reference to MyChoice, the only features that cost extra are setting a 2-hour delivery window and redirecting to a different address. Rather than paying full price I believe you can pay on a per package basis (like $5). It important to note that if you don't already have mychoice setup and verified signing up now might be kinda useless to you as it takes a couple of weeks to verify your address (they send you a letter and have you go online and type in the code on the letter).

Mine have all come UPS except for the 3GS back in 2009, to my recollection.

Fedex shipped the X for sure. You could put your phone number as the reference number and track the phone from China.

Only had mine delivered once Fedex when i got 6 plus so many years ago everything else wad UPS, but I guess it all depends

I places my order through Verizon at 5am PST and it says order ships on 9/20, shouldn’t it be received on 9/20?

I don’t think tracking numbers are assigned yet. Not until a shipping label is created unless there’s a way to check before that? I’d be interested as well.

This was a useful post from last year for tracking your iphone and finding out when it was made. I didn't see a post like this yet but I could have missed it, if so oops.

It's that time of year again! I have gathered together a bunch of useful info for tracking your iPhone order (if you order it through Apple), perhaps the mods can sticky this, as I think people will find it helpful and it may help prevent duplicate question threads.


Here are some notes to help track orders:

If your phone status has changed to "Shipped", you can view the invoice on the Apple site.
That invoice has the serial number on it.

Go to Apple.com, then pick the ORDERS page (the little "shopping bag" icon at the far right on the home page... go to your orders page). Now, log in, and find your iPhone order... and click on Print All Invoices to see your shiny new iPhone serial number.

If your phone number isn’t working for UPS tracking, use your order number but subtract the last two numbers/letters. Say your order number is: W123456789, you'd put in: W1234567 - make sure to use the tracking by reference feature.

When you see the time that your flight leaves China (make sure that the UPS or FedEx info is showing it per China time, or do the math), and you can usually narrow it down

I picked up my Xs Max at my local UPS hub, so it varies. It's been UPS for my iPhone for several years now.

yep, as far as iPhone orders go, I've only gotten it once with Fedex. I can be wrong, but the last orders have all been UPS.

Now accessories and even the AirPods? they did come by Fedex. But usually don't order those during launches.
