Carrier iPhone 11, Pro, Pro Max (2019) AT&T US Pre-orders, Orders and Delivery Status Thread

I am in NE Arkansas. Mine has shipped. Tracking shows that it is already at the FedEx hub in Memphis...about an hour from my house. There is a message that says the shipper has requested it be held until the actual arrival date. Too bad. otherwise, it would have been on my delivery truck today!

In addition, when I order this on pre-order day, it didn't ask me to pay the sales tax. I got an email that said I would be charged when it shipped. Well, it has officially shipped and still no charge for the sales tax. Weird.

I’m in the Chicago area. Memphis would make sense if the stock was being held at the FedEx terminal, which in past years could have been the case when deliveries from Apple were even more last minute. But I know for the past 3+ years the iPhones I’ve ordered have come from Ft. Worth.

The ATT iPhones are all shipped from from Ft. Worth. We (FedEx) actually started picking them up yesterday, but you usually won’t see that in the tracking progress. We pick up the iPhones by the trailer load and keep the trailers at our Ft. Worth facility where they will be released later today.

I ordered 2 pros and my wife's has "shipped", the other one still says, "preparing to ship". However, when I go to the AT&T app on the front page it has always said "1 order", and when i click for details it shows both phones and their respective statuses. Does this mean they will be shipped together maybe with the same tracking #? Is there a way to find out with the first tracking number on my wife's phone? Still have delivery date of 9/20 on my pro. Thanks.

Last year, mine was like this. Both came in the same box.

Are you positive there’s no ‘action required’ or ‘contact us’ type messages anywhere on the order status for your iPhone? If not, then you should be good and my experience is that they always ship the iPhones in separate boxes/shipments.

ETA: Haha, the above posters experience is same box. Good ole AT&T :D

Yeah no "action required emails", but the phone that has always updated status before the other one by several hours, so probably just need to wait a bit more. Looks like there are others on here that are still at the, "preparing to ship" status as well so no worries. Thanks.
 
Both of my Iphone 11 Pro's have shipped (to Chicago). One is already in tracking in Indiana. The other tracking# hasn't updated yet from Texas (shipped). I'm sure they will both be here at the same time.
 
LOL, my UPS tracking went from ZhengZhou to import scan Louisville. As expected, same as every year. No sweat, I’ll get it tomorrow.
 
I wonder if those of us that are still waiting are shipping via UPS because with the exception of maybe a couple all of the shipped notifications I’ve been seeing on this thread are from FedEx.
 
Not sure if this will help anyone but, I ordered my wifes 11 pro max 256 SG Saturday morning (yup you read that right. Saturday morning) and just got my tracking number for Friday delivery.
 
This is the first time in the past 5 preorders that I didn’t have tracking info by Thursday morning. I’m still showing Preparing to Ship. I’m still confident that my order will arrive tomorrow but it makes me wonder if the preorders were higher than we expected and they just have a mass amount of orders to process. I’m still not showing info from FedEx manager either. However, I’m only 4 hours away from Memphis so there is still more than enough time to ship out for overnight delivery.

One iPhone is coming from Ft Worth, TX and the other is coming from Plainfield, IN. Both shipping to Southern California via FedEx.

Mine still says preparing to ship but maybe it's in PA and I live in VA so not that big of a deal to get it here in time for tomorrow. <fingers crossed>

My first scan was in Indianapolis today. Which I thought was a little weird
 
Update:

Gold iPhone 11 Pro (256 GB) shipped from Indiana
Midnight Green iPhone 11 Pro (256 GB) shipped from Texas
 
now things are getting weird.. no email about being shipped. I checked it shows shipped via UPS. I click tracking info to get this message. I also tried copying and pasting the tracking and got same number :/ "UPS could not locate the shipment details for this tracking number. Details are only available for shipments made within the last 120 days. Please verify your information"

Doesn't AT&T use fedex?
