By any chance, do you live near Chicago? If you do, then you will most likely get it today. I am a FedEx guy, so I have a little insight in how these things work....or don’t work sometimes. You said that your iPhone departed at 0238. Was that departing from DFW or Ft. Worth (AFW)?

Pretty sure mine’s going to make it via UPS today. Tracking shows it reaching my area by 8am. Celebrating my 13th new iPhone day. I enjoyed the first few years in line at the stores but I don’t miss it. The order process with ATT is cumbersome but they’ve been good about getting the phones shipped on time.
You in the same boat as us? Delivery for 20th but stuck in Preparing to Ship and now delivery date disappeared overnight?
Yep, I’m in Evanston. And as of 5 minutes ago, it looks like they got the box to their Skokie facility, so I should see it today. Well, that is whenever I end up back home today/tonight.
Hope everyone posts pics of their phones when they get them! Mine still says by 8pm “At local FedEx facility”... any ideas if that delivery window will narrow down? I’ve done UPS in the past and they let you track the actual UPS truck when they’re close.
I just spoke with 2 reps. Both confirmed that my device has not shipped and is still preparing to ship. They said it will definitely not be here today and that I can’t cancel and have the upgrade reversed.
Did they give you an indication of when it might arrive? I'm in the same boat as you....
Speaking to AT&T right now. They told me it should deliver here today/tomorrow. I've been backordered until 10/19. He's getting me a tracking number rn. I'll confirm.

I live in Houston and we've had quite a few days of rain/flooding. As a result it looks like my phone was help up in Fort Worth a little longer. The phone is in Houston as of this morning, but I'm not confident it will be delivered today. Hopefully tomorrow!
Did not unfortunately. Said it’s possible it would be delivered tomorrow but I don’t think that’s likely. AT&T dropped the ball on this one for sure.
I think this is what happened with mine too. I'm not in Houston but I live in Texas, and I feel like that played a part with the warehouse delays.
I'm getting a call from their Order Department at 8amCST (20 minutes from posting time) and I'll let you know what they tell me.
I called and the ATT rep said my phone is in progress and that means it's headed to a carrier distribution center....she said it would be UPS or FedEx....she said if I don't have a tracking number by 5 to call back. They don't send out tracking numbers until the phones reach that distribution hub. She also said I may get it tomorrow or Monday at the latest.....
Well, my wife’s phone is on the truck for delivery today. Mine still shows it never left FedEx in Memphis. Called fedex and they are opening a tracing case and doing a facility search of the Memphis site and then calling me back 😕. Hoping it’s a scanning issue and I still get it today, but trying not to get my hopes up.
Exciting day! Mine is on the FEDEX truck now out for delivery. Should have by lunchtime. I wish they did Real time tracking like UPS, I’d go get it right off the truck.

Ordered 9/13 10:01 am ET. My delivery date was 9/20 until Tuesday this week when it dropped off. Stuck in preparing to ship. Chat agent says it could be up to 2 weeks for mine.
So I just spoke with someone else and he said the phone FOR SURE shipped yesterday with overnight shipping. However, the reason ATT hasn’t marked it as shipped is because they never received the tracking info from FedEx. He assured me it would arrive today. I’m doubtful but we will see. Maybe they will all show up today. It’s not impossible that due to so many scans FedEx would have missed a few sending to ATT. I would have thought was an automated process. Still doesn’t explain why it is showing up on FedEx delivery manager.
