I ordered 5 iPhone 11 pro max, all of them say shipped except the first one I ordered at 6:11 pst on 9/13 it is still saying “in progress”
Should I be worried?
Att told me it should be here by tomorrow but idk.
 
This past week has been a whirlwind of FirstNet issues.

Woke up early on preorder morning and was able to get my order submitted in <5min despite all the issues adding a payment and the premier website. Got the confirmation I’d be getting an iPhone early on 9/19! (Totally expected that to change to 9/20 but cool)

On 9/17 I get an email that says there’s a problem with my order and I need to call support. Spent 2.5 hours total on the phone, 6 transfers: from FN to premier, to AT&T Customer satisfaction, to AT&T orders, to AT&T general support, to Premier, back to FN. Everyone could see the error message but no one could see why, apparently I found a new error in the system, lucky me 🎉 I’m told the only resolution is to cancel my order and go into a store to place a new FN upgrade order, losing my Friday delivery :( apparently when it comes to phone upgrades the store can override any error messages that occur, FN, AT&T and premier phone support cannot for online orders.

I go into the store and they get everything ordered, expected date 9/24-10/2... not too bad but totally wanted to fanboy with everyone else Friday.

Cut to this morning I get a surprise... my new order placed on 10/17 for a iPhone 11 Pro Max 256gb Space Grey has shipped from PA with delivery by 20:00 9/19!!!!!

It’s been an ordeal but I’m so happy things are looking up! Guess someone cancelled or had another error like mine and I got lucky.
 
Anyone else order with firstnet and waiting for some type of movement? Order placed at 910AM EST after it opened and just keeps flipping between we're working on your order and we hit a snag but ready to get things back on track. Frustrating

haven’t seen an update to your situation, I would definitely call FN and confirm there isn’t an issue. See my last post for all the trouble I went through. Apparently my problem comes from having an orange AT&T SIM instead of the Black FN SIM. Had to do the AT&T SIM a couple months back to finally get me cellular Apple Watch working... number sync isn’t compatible with the FN SIMs yet.
 
If anyone is interested... here’s a link to watch the FedEx flights leaving this AM! I think I found mine headed from Memphis to Austin, though I’ve seen them go to Houston, Dallas and San Antonio in the past and drive packages in same day.

What is our original delivery date? If mine isn’t here tomorrow I am calling and canceling my order. I have had so many issues with a ATT over the past several months and this would be the last incident that would push me over to Verizon.

Just remember going to Verizon doesn’t negate having problems with them. I used to be a Verizon customer for about a year then back to ATT. Not saying your experience won’t be better but all carriers have screw ups and issues

Haha nope, that was the order FN/AT&T made me cancel. Reading over the older posts, sounds like a lot of people had an original arrival date of 9/19 and it’s slowly changed to 9/20.
mine is firstnet as well and originally showed 19th delivery but changed to the 20th just like everyone else.

Hey bro i ordered mine just yesterday 9/19 in the afternoon via the FN local control website.
i too use an orange sim for the purpose of my watch.
should I expect an error or delay because of that?
my est ship is 9/26-10/3 as of right now approx 11hrs from when I placed my order it's still in "preparing your order" status

Maybe they got it fixed? Mine went from preparing to ship to the “oh snap” error message. I got an email as soon as there was a problem too.

You might swing by an AT&T store today and see if the one you want is in stock... that would solve your problem if you can.
 
One phone left Tennessee yesterday afternoon and has a delivery date of today. The other still in Tennessee and Fedex changed the delivery date to pending. AT&T still shows today, so hoping to see some FedEx updates later this morning!
 
FedEx did me no favors, as my Pro Max didn’t leave Dallas until 2:38am last night. The box won’t make the cut off of getting to the local facility on time to get it on a truck this morning. I’m guessing I won’t get it until Monday now.

if they would have just shipped it Wednesday when it first started moving it could have been sitting at the local facility this morning.

they've already deducted or put a hold for $167 (taxes + upgrade fee) so going to a store wouldn't help i don't think because they'd have to place an entirely new order and charge me a second time

TBH I still don’t think they know 100% what caused the error, they were so baffled and kept putting me on hold. I’d watch it today then decide tonight... they’ll refund the hold/taxes if you cancel, not for sure how quickly but it will get returned.

Well nothing....it still says "Preparing to Ship" but my expected delivery of 9/20 dropped off the site between 3 am and 730 am (yes I woke up at 3 am to let the dogs out and decided to check since I was awake).... nothing from Fedex either :(

oh yeah that i know they will do. yes I'm gonna keep and eye out today --- i know once orders start shipping the system will start to clear itself up a bit. I was a bit annoyed because the past 3yrs ATT let me charge the taxes to the next month's bill. hopefully next year that's an option. I'm THISclose to switching back to consumer side

I’m not holding my breath. I think that packages need to be at the local DC to be loaded for delivery before 6am and mine hasn’t been scanned since getting to their airport sorting facility at 4:39am. FedEx says delivery by 8pm, but I would bet that will shift to Monday shortly.
Oh well, not the end of the world. I’m at a trade show today, then out with friends tonight, so I won’t be around anyway.

At least where I live Fedex will deliver on a Saturday....Amazon uses them for Saturday deliveries....my problem is I had planned to sit my butt here all day today waiting...I have a meeting tomorrow and will be gone most of the day....I will print out a fedex slip if I ever get a tracking number :(

it’s been a fun stressful journey...and it’s let’s hope it doesn’t only get worse next years iPhone day lmao

At least where I live Fedex will deliver on a Saturday....Amazon uses them for Saturday deliveries....my problem is I had planned to sit my butt here all day today waiting...I have a meeting tomorrow and will be gone most of the day....I will print out a fedex slip if I ever get a tracking number :(
If it is like previous years, the tracking will say residential weekday delivery.
 
This is so frustrating. I’m not that obsessed over a phone it’s the fact that I rearranged my work schedule for this. Had I know this delay was going to happen I would have just worked my normal schedule. If my phone doesn’t get delivered today I’m going to have to reroute the delivery so I can get it at work because I’m not taking another day off for a damn phone.

How many people who could ship it to work don’t ship it to work? I’ve always been confused why people aren’t shipping to work if that’s an option.
