Someone dropped the ball. My phone had a delivery date of 9/20. It was a preparing for shipment until 20 minutes ago. I called ATT this morning and said I would have my phone delivered today. Finally, just got FedEx tracking. They shipped it today and will have special Saturday delivery.

I am in the same boat but with absolutely no update. Still at "Preparing for shipment". I hope that if they cannot deliver today that Saturday is an option. Fingers crossed, but again I have absolutely no update or email.
For those of you who have gotten their phones, signature required this year???
i just checked and now it saying it departed from Indianapolis at 10:42 am smh; its going through fedex but im not sure if they deliver on the weekends...i just dont see me getting it today by 8 pm
Try the online chat about your order status. I am not sure if that helped to push mine for saturday delivery or not.
I just got off the phone with AT&T. I ordered my 11 pro silver 64gb at 6:56am CST on 9/13 with a delivery of 9/19 that got changed the next day to 9/20. They said it will be shipping tomorrow as it's in progress but wont deliver tomorrow. I'm not mad about it, just wondering why it's not shipped yet if I was able to actually pre-order before the actual 7am preorder event.
I talked with AT&T when mine did the same thing after showing 9/20 delivery all week. She said it was back ordered and could give me no date. That doesn't seem right. They always have a date, even if it's farther in the future than you would like.
That makes no sense. I ordered an iphone 11 pro 64g at 8:30 EST 30 minutes after launch. Mine shipped today with delivery tomorrow.
I ordered a 256gb grey Pro Max and a 64gb grey Pro Max through the AT&T website on the 13th, around 10:00AM EST. Up until yesterday, the delivery date was 9/20 on the AT&T website. I got a USPS (it's weird that I seem like the only one going USPS) tracking number around 11AM PST yesterday, but didn't get an actual scan until 9:50 PM, and it was at a sorting facility in Texas. It hasn't had another scan since then (12 hours have passed), and says it is being delivered by Saturday at 3PM. I wonder if there's any chance I'll still get it today?

now for a quick stop by the ATT store to see if they have it in green for a swap 
Now told that it would be 5-7 business days. Even though web site says preparing to ship.

side note: I find it funny that my mom, who doesn’t care about tech things, will get her phone on time. Where as I, a crazed tech person, will have to wait.... haha
Take it with a grain of salt. I have chatted with different AT&T reps today. Some say back ordered, some say I will definitely get it today. The last one said that since I ordered 2, they will come together today and not to worry. Who knows?
You’re right. Not enough to warrant going crazy haha. I’m hoping someone who is in a similar situation as us reports back with good news.
I've spoken with three reps and got "I don't know," "Today," and "5-7 business days" as answers. But the 5-7 days rep seemed the most competent, FWIW.
Got hubby phone, the guy just gave it to me no signature required. Now just waiting for mine from UPS
