Any updates on tracking info? Same message for me...
For me it changed to say that the system is down xD

“Sorry, we're currently experiencing technical difficulties with our tracking application. We thank you for your patience while we work to resolve the issue. Please check back.”

Hopefully it had been moving for us all along but the system was having issues and not showing it, I just hope it doesn’t get more delayed with this new storm they announced today that was coming.
 
So I finally received a Tracking number on Saturday, assuming is would be delivered today, but the Tracking number stlll does not come up in the UPS system.

Makes me wonder if the Tracking number is correct.

My complicating factor is that it is being delivered to a friends house (because she was home all day Friday, but no phone), so I may need to go and sit there all day. And if it doesn't come today, then what do i do?

So frustrating. Next time, preordering with Apple. It is not worth this much mental energy.
 
I tried this and no luck... they told me that once the phone is preparing to ship they can't cancel

If I’m still stuck with “in progress,” am I allowed to go to the store and just get it there? I really need my phone before this weekend for a trip.
 
On a side note, does anyone know if when I receive my AT&T order, if I can return it to an AT&T store instead of mailing it back? Thanks.

I went to the AT&T store Friday to see if they could apply any of the promo's to my account and they told me online orders have to be shipped back and cannot be returned to the store.

So I don’t really know how it happened but when I ordered my phone it upgraded the wrong line. I clicked on my line that is on the Next Every year and was going to trade in my XS Max. Here is my idea, wanted to see if anyone has done something similar.
I won’t be able to get to an ATT store before Thursday afternoon. My phone arrives Monday. I plan to keep it sealed and go to an ATT store Thursday and “return” it. Thing is, I don’t think they will have any stock Thursday so I want to “return” my phone and rebuy it on another line. I don’t see why they couldn’t do it since it will be factory sealed. Any thoughts?

AT&T corporate store told me they did not accept online orders for return. Might want to give them a call before you do that to avoid further frustration.
 
Try it. I understand that if is in process they can cancel the order.

I went to 3 AT&T stores and they are completely sold out of the Pro Maxs. They won’t be getting any in a week or two. I also went to Apple to see if I could upgrade there.... but they only have Pro Max MG in 64GB. I guess my best bet is to wait for my preorder.

It arrived 15 mins before my class started (I was teaching) so I started the transfer....said it would take 3 days using the iPhone to iPhone so I used the backup I had from my iTunes and that only took one hour....
you need to disable Network Wifi location services...it cut my speed on wifi in half....I had iOS 13 on my iPhone so I know I was getting great speeds so it was the phone not iOS....once I disabled that my speeds are back to normal. The green isn't as bright as the videos made it look but I keep it in a case so no big deal. My class just ended so I haven't played a lot with it - I'm just glad it came before we left for vacation on Thursday.

Mine just update to a delivery date of Wednesday. I don’t understand why most everyone else had there’s delivered next day and they are screwing us by not getting it off in time, then shipping it two day? I’ll be in New York on Wednesday. Never ordering from these clowns again.
 
You guys can’t cancel and get a phone in store?
Not here. The nearest Apple Store is a day away & requires an overnight stay. I really wish people would stop suggesting this. Not all cities— or States, even— have Apple Stores. Montana has zero Apple Stores. TX has several— but not in West Texas. NM has a couple, maybe, but not in East NM. So, for people located in West TX— a day away, either direction.

Cell phone providers won’t sell iPhones on a cash basis— they want customers locked into a plan for a couple of years. And ordering from AT&T has always been a nightmare in my experience.

The only viable alternative is ordering from Apple, online.
 
Finally moved to preparing to ship. How long should it take for me to receive shipping information?
My “in progress” changed to “preparing to ship” around 9pm last night. I just checked my order on the app and it’s shipped. AT&T didn’t send me an email or text message for tracking information.

Hopefully you’ll see movement with your order soon. I’ve been bothering them on the chat and phone so maybe that helped a little lol
