I just went to my local Best Buy and they had a ton in stock. I called AT&T to cancel, but they said they couldn't because it was "preparing to ship". When I asked them when, they said maybe the 24th, but had no tracking info. Luckily, I have other lines I can use to upgrade, so I got the Silver Pro and they said when I finally do receive my AT&T order, to just send it back and it will not be activated. So, at least I have my phone on launch day, but what a cluster f**k.

I ordered mine (Green AT&T iPhone 11 Pro Max 512G) at 7:07 Central (5:07 Pacific) and it was delivered UPS about 18:00 today. I’m always at the end of the guys route. Its now configured and syncing all the music and apps which will likely take many hours.

I’m calling it “Vina” ... anyone figure out the reference? :) (And if you like those types of games, I call my Watch “Tess”.)

Question (or perhaps I should start a new thread). I transfered data from my old phone to the new phone and at one point it took about a half hour to transfer data... but I can’t figure out what it transferred. I was hoping it would move the apps, music, and other large items but it didn’t transfer either my Music nor the Apps because it is downloading all those now. I don’t recall this step last year. Any clues on what it was transfering. Also... it might have been doing it via bluetooth because my network monitor wasn’t registering anything (but its also a new toy so I am not confident in how to use it yet).

It will complete the rest of the transfer over the air....
I have 5k songs and tons of videos so it always takes a few hours to complete on home wifi.
 
Crazy thing happened. FedEx wouldn't let me pick it up at the facility, which is lame. On my way back from picking up another 11 Pro from the apple store 10 miles away, I see a FedEx truck parked in a shopping center. I rolled up and asked him for a signature release form in case a package I was waiting for came today (specifically not mentioning iPhone so I didn't look creepy). He said sure as he handed me one. Then asked, "are you waiting for an iPhone? I have 150 to deliver, what's your address?" I gave him major crossroads and he said awesome, I have your phone, saves me a stop! I apologized for looking like I was stalking him and he said no problem, one less stop for him!

Did you choose the new phone to phone (not iCloud) transfer? That works over bluetooth/wifi and transfers personal data and the skeleton of any app plus user data.
 
I now have a delivery date of Saturday by noon. My phone left Indianapolis at 12pm then left Plainfield, IN at 7:45 pm only to go back to Indianapolis at 8:03 PM . WTF? Tomorrow is not looking promising
 
I was in local (Corte Madera, CA) ATT store a couple of days ago, and was told to come today at 8AM to switch carriers and get two 11Ps. Yesterday PM I got a text that said they had not gotten phones. Don't bother coming.

Anyone hear of anything like that?
 
Finally came at 6:30p. Ordered 7:05am CST. SG 256G. The low light camera is great

I posted the following yesterday: I ordered two phones, iPhone 11 64 in black and iPhone 11 Pro Max 256 in Green. The iPhone 11 has shipped and will come by FedEx from Ingram Micro in Indiana. I live in mid-Michigan. The iPhone 11 Pro Max 256 is still preparing to ship but still says it will deliver tomorrow. I ordered at the AT&T store in Howell, MI at 10:20 am on 9-13. I expect I will see both tomorrow. Just thought I would drop this information here in case people who don't have info yet are wondering.

Since then, the following happened: Last night the delivery date dropped off completely on the iPhone Pro Max. I received the iPhone 11 today with no problem. I called AT&T twice today. 15 minutes after the second call I got an email that the papers had been received by FedEx for shipment out of Rancho Cucamonga, CA. I live in Michigan. The email said it was shipping overnight with Saturday delivery by noon. The other phone came from Indiana. I was told both times I called that it was probably back ordered. I'm happy I'm getting the phone but I found this a little strange.

Friday. Midnight Green Pro Max 256. There have been people that ordered 9/16 same model, color, and storage and received theirs today. Seems to have no bearing when you ordered.

According to my tracking it actually shipped today around 3:00 PM but I didn’t get the tracking notice from FedEx until around 7:00 PM. ATT still has not sent an email, however the order does who as shipped on MyATT app. I have been busy today so I haven’t had a chance but I definitely plan to call in and strongly express my displeasure.

Ok so just posting update cause heck why not, it’s already midnight here never received the order after AT&T chat “assured” that I would get it today cause it had shipped yesterday through USPS according to that agent. Just finished talking with another agent through chat, he now said that my order shipped today through FedEx and that I will be getting it tomorrow in the afternoon. He said he could give me the tracking number but that I wouldn’t be able to do much with it cause it doesn’t appear on Fed Ex system yet. I tried out the tracking the guy sent me and the FedEx website said the tracking number was invalid. At this point I seriously think the guy made up the number on the spot heck the number literally looks super fishy and fake for a tracking number. He said I will have an email by tomorrow morning with the tracking and shipment confirmation, we’ll see about that.
 
On a side note, does anyone know if when I receive my AT&T order, if I can return it to an AT&T store instead of mailing it back? Thanks.
Their return policy posted online states that devices purchased on att.com can be returned to a corporate-owned AT&T store or by mail using the pre-paid shipping label that was included in the box.

However, in my experience, most AT&T stores do NOT accept returns of devices purchased online. I purchased a XS Max last year on att.com and decided to return it (realized it wasn't worth the upgrade from the X). I went to two corporate AT&T stores a few days after launch and both told me that they would absolutely not accept returns of online orders in-store and that I had to use the shipping label and mail it back. I even showed the managers of both stores a copy of the return policy as posted on att.com (here) but they wouldn't budge, and said it was "at each store's discretion" to accept online returns or not. So, I had to mail the phone back. It worked out fine, but I honestly couldn't believe that AT&T would rather rely on USPS to ship the phone back across the country rather than just accept the return directly in a store.

If you do mail it back, be sure to take a picture of the prepaid label so you have the tracking number. Whatever return service AT&T uses is SLOW. It took almost 2 weeks after mailing it back to finally get my refund.

I still have nothing on any app showing it has been shipped....I'm still remaining optimistic
 
I finally got tracking info about 20 minutes ago for a Monday delivery. Still pissed that I took yesterday off and I can’t take Monday off. Luckily I have someone that’ll be home to grab the package off the porch so it’s not sitting there for hours.

Well no email saying that it shipped yet, called and they now said it hasn’t shipped and that they have no idea when I’ll get it... this people are a joke.

Ordered at 6:00 am on the first morning, iPhone 11 Pro 256 in Space Gray. Arrived about noon from FedEx, started doing the phone to phone transfer but it failed. Restored the phone to factory, ran the install as manual and installed as a backup from iCloud. Went flawless except FaceBook stalled and did not complete. I left it overnight but still not done. I am going to remove the app and try again.
