No one said to Apple, "Show us what you can do at higher price brackets.” We want more technology at lower prices. If you want more you should be able to pay less. This is the problem with capitalism. If you have more money, you can afford nicer things and companies like Apple and Sony and Ford and Shark and Sonos are happy to have higher priced items with more features—but you need money. Corrupt.

The only difference between iPhones should be SCREEN SIZE. NOT TECHNOLOGY. GET IT, APPLE???

Apple is widely expected to release three new iPhones in the fall, and an anonymous Twitter account with a proven track record has suggested that at least one of the models will have "Pro" in its name, such as "iPhone 11 Pro."

The tweet comes from a mystery account named CoinX, which has accurately leaked several details about upcoming Apple products over the past year, including the names of the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR before anyone else, the removal of the headphone jack on 2018 iPad Pro models, and much more.

CoinX's accurate leak about the 2018 iPhone names:

In this case, CoinX phrases the tweet as a rhetorical question, but the account has a perfect track record so far with all of its leaks:

For what it's worth, MacRumors received the following anonymous tip on August 4: "The square camera iPhone will be called the iPhone 11 Pro. This is fact." It would be a disservice to our readers to simply pass along any unsubstantiated tip we receive, but it is now worth mentioning in light of this tweet.

This could mean the 2019 lineup will include the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro, and perhaps the iPhone 11R, but we still don't know for sure.

Apple is widely expected to unveil three new iPhones next month, including two higher-end 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch OLED models and one lower-end 6.1-inch LCD model. Rumored features include triple-lens rear cameras on the higher-end models, larger batteries, two-way charging of AirPods, and much more.

Hopefully and cross everybody’s finger, the “Pro” name comes with 1 TB memory to solidify “Pro” name. That will be perfect As iPhone is a computer phone (micro iPad).

I’m guessing because it’ll be different than XS successor. Not just a bigger phone. This is good though. A bigger phone gives Apple more to work with. It should have more bells and whistles.

‘what bigger phone? Thought they were maintaining size for 2019?

At the end of the day though I can afford any iPhone model, I chose the XS as my hands are not going to grow to accommodate a larger screen sized phone and I am a believer of a one hand use phone, though the XS screen is pushed that limit a bit, unfortunately Apple makes no smaller size with present generation tech.

Most indications point that 2019 iPhone should be skipped due to lack lustre features and design, hence AppleTV+ to offset the hardware revenue drop.

AW5 is where I am most interested.

I am sure with Pencil support too. :p

WHO really cares? This is gonna be the 3rd iteration of the iPhone X anyways and a huge ton of amazing features are already rumored for the 2020 release so I am definitely going to skip this and go right to the iPhone 12 or whatever it’s going to be called.

I hope people finally start waking up to the crap Apple pulls when calling its better models “Pro”. It’s meaningless unadulterated marketing, pure and simple. Calling a phone Pro might be the final nail that does this; as if a “Pro” monitor stand wasn’t already. Apple has become a parody.

I use an iPad “Pro” 10.5”, but there’s nothing Pro about it. It’s completely, 100%, a consumer gadget/device. It just happens to be a nicer experience than the similar 10.5” “Air” model, which they deliberately crippled. Because apparently you have to be “Pro” to want better stereo speakers with which to watch movies and play games.

Pro simply means it will be far more expensive. I mean it's not like anyone can say they didn't see this coming.

What ratio of the population can afford these models? It is not a limited quantity or model, they still have to produce these constantly throughout the year for sale.

Think I'll pass this year!!

iPhones are usable for SO long, there is no actual need to upgrade each year.
Same time I know Android sheep, who would like to buy iPhone, for years, but they dot do it because iPhone 6s was iPhone 6 with “s” letter-> iPhone 7 was not good because the same as 6s, with no AuX-> iPhone 8 was same as 7, but only with wireless charging-> iPhone X was first get, so skip that and buy next gen with bugs fixed-> iPhone XS same as iPhone X, lets wait for bigger improvements,-> now this one is brewing, but the camera is ugly, so skip this one prolly too
