I live in Canada, the 11 is 1003 bucks plus 13% tax and the 11 pro is 1153 plus tax for the 64 and the pro max is 1264 and tax.
Oh okay - sorry. That seems like a lot less price difference between the 11 and 11 pro than here in the US.

Thanks! I had no idea RMB was how you denoted Chinese currency.
He mentioned it in a post. I converted it to USD. About $17 USD.

Holy cow!!! iZac, you made the front page of MacRumors!!!
Article here
Sounds like many people in that thread are asking for a comparison of the 5.4” iPhone 12 to the 11 Pro & Pro Max models. iZac, no good deed goes unpunished.![]()
OK...
I got fed up of waiting and trawling through YouTube videos to freeze frame and squint at the size comparisons, so I jumped on taobao and bought my own 5.4” dummy model. Attached are some images to help people compare them a bit more comprehensively.
Quick takeaway is it’s ~6mm wider than the iPhone SE and ~3mm thinner than the iPhone 7 that I’ve scaled it against. This lines up with the CAD drawings I previously drew based on the leaked resolution, which I calculated as 2.8mm thinner than the iPhone 7. The round profile on the 7 makes it appear thinner in images. it‘s also stacked on the bottom so doesn’t help with perspective. I used the portrait camera to try to reduce that factor.
From handling it I can say it does feel like a bit more of a stretch than the SE, which just nestles very comfortably in my hand. BUT, although it’s nearer to the 7, I will note that it feels a lot more manageable because the square profile and flat side lets you actually grip the device.
Overall, I think I can get used to it and finally retire my stalwart SE.
Thanks Theyayarealivin! I'm afraid I don't have a Pro max to hand. I'll compare it to my girlfriends 11 pro in a little bit. The images won't be as clear though, I was using that phone to take the last round of pictures.
You're welcome Seaw, this dummy model was bought from one of the case manufacturers so it doesn't have a screen line to measure to. Overall the device is a little over 64mm wide though. Sorry I can't be more accurate than that!
Maybe the extra depth going from 8 to 10 bit processing will help with that 🤷♂️Thanks to the OP for doing this.
It’ll be amazing to have a small phone that also has Apple’s latest tech in it.
Nervous about the rumoured OLED screen though (PWM sufferer here).
You. Are. A. Star.OK...

He posted them hereHey did I miss where you posted the 11 pro comparison? I’d love to see that since I’m on the fence about my phone situation.
I think you are enormously mistaken. That phone came at a time when it was the only iPhone Apple offered at the time. The 'lower' iPhone model this year will cost the same starting price as the iPhone 5. There is no reason to believe we should expect anything less from the 5.4" model this year. When you hear 5,4" or squared edges you automatically imagine a 5 / 5S device... But I think that you can't expect this type of craftmanship in lower models and most of you will be dissapointed by design...

I don’t get your point - the 5/5s/SE was arguably one of the best iPhone designs ever.
So if the 5.4” iPhone looks anything like it, I’m going to be pretty happy.
Do you mean the chamfered edges? I like them. They provide more grip and look nice.the sharp non-ergonomic edges of the iPhone 4-5S
I disagree. At launch, the iPhone 5 and 5s sold for $649 without a carrier subsidy. The original iPhone SE sold for $399. The machining process on the iPhone 5/5s/SE design has long paid for itself for Apple, providing economies of scale. The iPhone 12 will be an entirely new device, even if it does take cues from the 5/5s/SE, but I think we’ll see incredibly craftsmanship from the design of the 5.4” model, even with an expected starting price of $649. The specifications (cameras, display quality, etc.) are areas where Apple can flex down to hit the desired price point. I’m keen to see how far down they’ll flex from the 11 Pro and new 12 Pro models.Me too... I wanted to say that this kind of design (or something like premium feeling) will be for Pro models (e.g. you can't expect space gray, gold or silver...)
They also feel terrible in your hand with their hard edges.Do you mean the chamfered edges? I like them. They provide more grip and look nice.

Feels fine to me.They also feel terrible in your hand with their hard edges.
At this point! We’re all tired of the waiting! September seems so far awayThanks for sharing these pictures, i was really tired of waiting too...i really hope it's smaller than this man
That is true but they are also prone to scratches and more fragileDo you mean the chamfered edges? I like them. They provide more grip and look nice.
It’s a subjective matter. I personally have never found the chamfered edges even remotely comfortable in my hand.Feels fine to me.
Old news I'm sure, but it seems that double vs triple lens, no LiDAR, 60hz vs 120hz, clear glass vs frosted glass, (probable) aluminum sides vs. stainless steel, starting 64gb vs. 128gb.... might be enough to justify a $350 price difference.I disagree. The rumored stacked chip (motherboard?) would have a smaller footprint and allow for more battery (a'la' "L" shaped battery in the Pro). I'm hoping for better battery life than the se2020 as well.I’m hoping that the A14 brings even more power efficiency that a smaller battery than the 11 Pro paired with a smaller, 5.4” screen, brings battery life on par with the 11 Pro. I can’t think of one reason to buy the 6.1” Pro model but if battery life is weak, I will regret my purchase decision.
