If one of the models has a LCD screen- that's my choice. If none do- then I don't want any of them
I really hope for USB C. But based on their reaction to Europe - my guess is this won't happen. One can definitely hope tho.
The SE2 is supposed to be a different phone.
6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max - 6 GB / 128
4.7-inch iPhone SE2 - 3 GB / 64 GB, dual camera (wide, tele), LTE, LCD
I’m being forced to get an even bigger phone now again![]()
Yeah, you're probably right. I'll adjust my list.Hope I’m wrong, but I don’t think the SE2 will get a dual camera.
You mean snappier place 😁I'll keep saying this... it's GOOD that Apple is conservative with RAM because it forces developers to not be LAZY! Developers are notoriously lazy, when they are allowed to be. Many feel that optimizing their app is an *optional* task. Now, I don't use Xcode, but I believe it does some optimizations automatically?
I build websites and my home-grown framework puts optimization first at every level, and the results speak for themselves. Fastest websites on the planet. It blows my mind how many wasteful, bloated websites are out there. A little effort to write optimal code and compress images and assets goes a long way to make the world a happier place.
I’m so over these notches. All they care about is the camera these days.
Everyone keeps saying "iPhone 12", when it's almost certain to be "iPhone 11S".
So the spring one would get dual camera? Seems unlikely?
If this 5.4 inch phone is really not a "Pro" model, I'm going to be severely disappointed. Stop making the phones bigger. Or at least offer different sizes of the same phone since, you know, people's hands are different sizes.

ios always needed half of what android needs....so for 2020, samsung will have 8 and 12 gb ram, pro iphone models will have 6gb ram
Because the only time since the 3GS that they've stepped away from the #, #s, #+1, #+1s... naming scheme is with the iPhone X (complete with uncharacteristic roman numeral, and note that they didn't continue that with the XI, they went back to Arabic numerals) to make a big point about it being the iPhone's tenth anniversary, and set out in a massively different direction (edge-to-edge OLED screen, FaceID, etc.). This year's changes sound solid, but not momentously different like the X.How you figure that? There are meant to be some big upgrades this year to the iPhone
Yes, but then how would they get you to buy the iPhone 13?Don't wanna see this notch anymore with iPhone 12.
Likely called the 8S, or 9, not the SE2 - the latter name was made up by an analyst or rumor site, back when few other (rumored) details were available, and got heavily popularized because there's a contingent that fervently wants a modernized SE (it won't be a drop-in SE replacement, it'll be 8-sized, more or less - it won't make many in the crowd that wants a modernized SE happy). The SE2 is supposed to be a different phone.

4.7-inch iPhone SE2 - 3 GB / 64 GB, single camera (wide), LTE, LCD
Eh, you could be right.sure, just like the 8 was a 7s, remember?..
don't be that guy.Not to be "that guy", but Samsung phones had 6gb of ram like 4 years ago.
I doubt the 11 Pros will stick around, but I definitely think the 11 will stick around and will move to the slot currently filled by the XR. I also think the "9" as the rumors are now calling it will take the place of the 8 as the entry level model and it will stick around as the cheapest iPhone in the lineup through fall 2021 and possibly beyond.Given that there seems to be 5 new models coming in 2020, its going to be a fun season for iPhone rumours.
I guess the most likely by the end of the year will be:
iPhone SE
iPhone 12 (5.4” and 6.1”)
iPhone 12 Pro (6.1” and 6.7”)
And I guess the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro will hang around? I wonder what will happen to the whole lineup and naming come September.
