Makes no sense as others from Verizon and ATT were able to track them from China.....and had tracking days.....I just got off wirh ATT no updates. I'm not happy

iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max Order Statuses Begin Shifting to 'Preparing to Ship'

You’re still getting it on Friday at some time during the day. You may not be able to track it to the square mile it’s currently occupying, but you’ll get it on Friday
Don’t mistake a lack of detailed information for the inability for UPS or FedEx to get it to you on the day specified.
From other post I think Fed ex ships for Att, you may be able to set up an account with fed ex..not sure how it would work as far as tracking numbers go. Hope that helps
I do know that AT&T hasn't provided tracking to anyone yet, but I have accounts with Fedex and UPS. Both tell you when you have a package coming in advance and NADA. I already have a Fedex account. I check hourly. Nothing
I understand, and that’s kinda what I’m saying. If you didn’t have accounts for FedEx and UPS, you’d just be waiting for your shipping notification on Thursday or Friday. Those tools likely work best for tracking normal packages from origin to destination and not so well for special shipping instructions like they’re under now (deliver to depot, hold for delivery, etc.)
Finally I am now able to look on the UPS APP and have tracking info. On schedule for Friday. Just departed from Alaska.... finally I can rest easy 😊. It’s on the way
Same I just typed my number and found it, its not showing up in my my choice yet but also this is what is says [Order Processed: On its Way to UPS] does this mean that it is still in China?
Yep it does still say that on the Apple site. My guess is it will update on Apple site later today or tomorrow morning. So it does appear to whoever preorder theirs and it gave them a delivery of 11/13, you can rest assured and it’ll be delivered on time.
My iPhone 12 Pro Max Pacific Blue is on the way as well via UPS. UPS app is showing that it departed Anchorage, AL. But App Store app is still showing my status as "Preparing to Ship". I believe I will get that on Friday 11/13.
I think it’s in anchorage Alaska. That’s what mine says. And the Apple rep I texted earlier did say all the preordered phones are on the plane on their way to the states and the Apple site will be updated with tracking info once they’re in the states
I have no number to enter in UPS. I always check my order on Apple website. That’s all. It keep saying preparing to ship for 5 days

Just wanted to add my experience. Ordered the Pro Max on Apple's site last Friday 20 minutes into the preorder time since I couldn't get on the website. It gave me a 11/13 delivery date. I'm also not getting a tracking number when I look up my order, but yesterday I did learn a trick to enter my phone number used on the order on UPS' site under Track by Reference # and then under Shipment Reference. It gave me the last four of the tracking number and said In Transit. When I registered for MyChoice on the UPS site it gave me the whole number and looking at the details, the phone has been moving since the 7th. Left China, then Hong Kong, and departed Anchorage, AK 12:24 AM yesterday morning. That was the last location posted. So it's in the US, but still nothing on Apple's site to show it shipped. So anyone trying to get the full tracking number, try that. But everything indicates that my delivery date is accurate.
Anyone can sign up for MyChoice on UPS. It's free. You can also try calling UPS and tell them what you're able to see by putting your phone number in with the last four of the tracking number and see if they can enter that, as well, to give you the full number. It's their system, so you would think they could see that to give you.
I’m on the same predicament the other AT&T users are. I ordered right away when I could last Friday (7:00 am CT) and sadly no tracking information found on UPS or FedEx.

I registered for my choice and I cant see my order on that I can only see it when I track by reference
