Question: does the issue affect even the iPhone 12 / 12 Pro / 12 Pro Max or only the iPhone 12 mini?

That’s the thing, I ripped off the $59 glass screen protector thinking it was the screen protector issue, now waste my money on that, and now they want me return back to them to fix.......what a joke.
On the first day when I picked up the unit , then applied the protector, try to use the phone thought it was just me, now suddenly it’s all over the internet, thought it was only me......as there was nothing on internet then...

Same thing here with leather case and screen protector. Can't open anything with your right thumb. Notifications, camera, or flashlight.

Swiping up to login or over to use the camera works tho.

Im using the apple leather case and bodyguards prtx synthetic glass screen protector btw
Update. The issue seems to have gone away completely with iOS 14.3. Only had the lock screen stick once. But that was when the phone turned on from updating

Been experiencing this issue since Friday, when I received my new iPhone Mini. Frustrating not being able to unlock my phone while wearing a mask. I hope Apple soon addresses this issue publicly as we’re already at 17 pages of postings on this thread alone.
Update to iOS 14.3 it fixes it

I made a report last night and thanks for taking the time to talk to the Engineer. Advising you return the phone is a waste of time, as another one in stock is going to do the same thing. He may have known that but, he had to go through the steps just the same.
Just update to the 14.3 beta. Issue resolved

Have you try with a metal case or only with leather/tpu case?
I would imagine that anything metal touching the body would work fine...anything that doesn't conduct electricity (plastic, rubber, leather, etc.) won't work.

Wow $59 screen protector? Which one? I bought a 3-pack for my wife's Pro Max for like $14 and they seem to be working great. That said, before this time (when I applied one of her spares to my phone), I've never used screen protectors because I know in the past they have messed up prox sensors.
