I bought iPhone 12 Pro at the first possible day and now I have 90% of battery health. It is so ridiculous. First iPhone I have problem with.

I also have more than 100 cycles and 90%. I don't care about charging because we have many more troubles and cases than thinking about charging. Especially that Apple said "hey we will take care of your battery" I don't see it.
In Poland we have only authorized services. Anyway in the past when I had problem with iP 6 they've changed my battery without any problem. Moreover they didn't do any trials. I hope it will works also this time because it look strange. I am worried because it look like most of us won't reach 80% during warranty (maybe just after) unless it will start to drop even faster 😉

My launch 12 pro max dropped to 90%. I took it into apple. The guy helping me agreed that wasn’t normal and was going to ask his boss about a free replacement. His boss said no so I paid the $69. I paid it and now I have great battery life again.

how have you been charging yours? magsafe? other wireless? lightning?
Only with lightning and once a day when it reaches 30% besides when I am driving and it automatically charges. I decided to stay away from wireless charging because I still think that totally screwed the battery on my old XS Max. (I used to wake up with a hot phone many times)

Yay, 6 more % until I get the free replacement. 🙄

(Drain overnight off charger was a whopping 19%...just sitting on my desk. Normal battery drain during daily use has been dramatically affected. What a mess! 😠)

My iPhone 12 Pro Max I got in November. Down to 97%.

My question is. If you use the 20w apple charger, would that make the capacity drain faster?

or should I stick with the regular charger?

Mine is now at 97%. I’m just going to keep a battery pack with me to charge up and have my battery replaced by Apple once I hit 80%. I’m paying monthly for AppleCare+ so I don’t need to worry about hitting 80% before the 2 year mark.

Yeah, 12 Pro Max. Got the phone in Nov. This started in late Feb. - dropped to 99%.
Been a steady decline since.

My 12 pro also dropped to 99% in late February. I wonder if there is pattern here or was it an update that was released. Battery currently sits at 95%.

Nope, I *don't have any ad blockers installed on the phone. Heck, I don't even surf / post on this site with my phone.

Always use my desktop browsing MacRumors.

Just a quick update: Launch day 12 PM, iOS 14.6, 137 charge cycles, 99.9% Magsafe charging, Still 105% health. My experience with Magsafe is that it NEVER degrades battery life quicker than wired charging
