I don’t doubt the durability of the screen when it comes to scratches but I still wouldn’t use my phone without a screen protector. No way, no how lol

Random question to which I don't seem to be able to find a solution.
Let's say I try to take a picture of a moving object using the macro lens, I focus and shoot but the focus changes (due to the phone's will to interchange lenses, AE/AF lock doesn't help). Is there an option/3rd party app to "lock" the lens you are using (or lock at certain MM when shooting).

On a different note, can you chose (I assume with a third party app) to increase the flash intensity?

Does anyone else feel the 5G antenna spot was originally for a mini Apple Pencil, but they cancelled that and repurposed it? It looks exactly like the area on the iPad Pro and air that you put the Apple Pencil.

After using the pro max for two months, I can continently say this doesn’t need a screen protector. I’m incredible impressed with scratch resistance so far. I’m not even seeing micro scratches that would show up by now. Ceramic Shield is no joke.
I’m surprised! I have some pretty nasty scratches on the edges of my screen where the black border is. Also a really deep scratch in which I have zero clue how it got there.

I was just about to buy the 12 pro then found out it still uses lightning for charging up , since all my other iOS devices use usb-c I think I’ll wait for the 13. Shame as it’s a lovely iPhone

Don‘t think so. Non-USA models don’t have the window, so it’s not like it would have been hard to backtrack and remove it completely. The nature of mmWave 5G requires them at the moment, so I am sure they would have been purposefully designed.

That’s not to say the design/manufacturing process of them wasn’t influenced by the Apple Pencil window, though.

You'll be waiting for ever, iPhones will never get usb c.

From what I can see the max pro isn’t that much bigger physically than the pro but has better battery life

Ive got an 8 plus which I really hate , big and heavy with a crappy screen and I really hate touch id , Face ID is miles better . It’s my birthday soon so I think I’ll treat myself to one 😂

YOLO after all 🎉

It IS. I have this exact combo. LOVE IT. 😍😍😍 You will discover more and more wonderful details about about the pro max. I'm so impressed.
Unfortunately I had to return mine :(. Couldn't hold service at my house! Tried 3 different phones. SO it had to go back which stinks.

In my 2 months of using the iPhone 12 Pro, I have to say, I’m enjoying the 12 Pro a lot. The 12 Pro probably has to be my favorite phone that Apple has released thus far. I’m really enjoying the phone’s body so you can grip it better compared to the curved edges that the iPhone X and 11/11 pro has. I seem to always drop my phone with the curved edges, but with the 12, it’s rare for me to drop it. The camera system is awesome. I have taken some pretty awesome night mode shots and I’m loving AppleRAW. I’m a photographer so having RAW already in the camera’s system is amazing and I can just post-process that RAW image into adobe lightroom mobile. I’ve noticed the front facing camera being better for FaceTime calls compared to the previous generation which I appreciate a lot too. I haven’t noticed any battery issues on my iPhone 12 Pro, so I guess I’m one of the lucky ones to have no issues with the battery. The MagSafe system is pretty awesome too. Overall I’m really pleased and satisfied with my 12 Pro. 😁

Agree, have a 12 pro Max upgraded from a XS max, without a case the 12 pro max is much more gripper in the hands.

It's your favourite iPhone till the iPhone 12s/13 is released. 😊😂
