Do you have night shift and and True Tone on? That looks way to yellow especially considering that the 11 pro was already warmer then the 10.

About the 5G on eSIM @Boardiesboi notes on his OP, Verizon reminded me the 5G ain't active on eSIMs yet, pending an Apple update on the iOS. So I kept the physical SIM and will make the switch later. More here https://www.macrumors.com/2020/10/19/5g-dual-sim-mode-software-update-planned/
It sounded slightly different from the article as it states "in dual SIM mode", but the two rep's I spoke with today (to fix activation and to fix the fix lol) told me the same, "no 5G on eSIM".
Your phone also knows the colour of your case... just worked that out.I just picked up my iPhone 12 Pro Pacific Blue 128GB from the Apple Store in Sydney Australia.
First impressions:
Happy to take questions! Will try and answer when I’m on breaks from working from home
- Coming from an iPhone 11 Pro Max and I am already loving the lighter weight
- The pacific blue colour is beautiful. It's a cross between midnight green and space grey with a touch of teal. You get different colours in different lighting conditions
- The squared off edges make it really nice to hold and it's less slippery compared to the curved edges of the last few years
- Can’t tell the difference in the photos being taken compared to the 11PM. But then I’m no photographer
- Match made in heaven when paired with the plum silicone case, but it doesn’t magically attach easily like they showed in the event.
- MagSafe works as intended and the magnet attachment is quite strong I’ll watch out for the indent or ring on the back of the case shown in another thread
- Still setting up my eSIM with my provider so will report back with 5G speeds once that’s done

Same here I hate yellow tint, these phones keep getting yellower each year, the 11 pro was warmer then the 10 and now the 12 pro is warmer then the 11 pro

Exactly. It's a pretty sad state of affairs when you're 4 minutes in and can't get a device on release date. I'm not that bothered, just surprised more than anything that Apple don't offer Saturday delivery. Give me something to look forward to on Monday though

I’ve just been browsing as usual this morning and the back of the pro feels noticeably warm to the touch.
How long does the initial syncing usually take?

So my 12 Pro's screen is also yellower than my X...not sure how to feel yet.
Was the Speedtest screen shot taken when you were near the 5G UW tower? Because it’s not showing on your phone that you’re on UW connection.
I’ve been using my 12P by itself and I don’t notice the yellow tint anymore.
If it bothers you when you’ve used it for a few days then maybe consider returning but I wouldn’t compare it against the old phone constantly.
Just got my 12 Pro in PB. It's a beautiful device. I have not been this excited about an iPhone design since the 4/5 gen. Already decided I am going caseless, it seems criminal to put this phone in a case. I have AC+ so I am not too worried about it. IMHO, the size of the 12 with the design is the about the perfect size, I am coming from a XR with the same screen size and this device feels smaller in the had and lighter. I am just getting into it but so far I am very pleased.

Just compared to my mrs X and mine definitely a touch warmer. It’s not bothering me enough yet to want to swap.
Yeah, same. I tried taking some pics to compare and honestly I can't even get the difference to show. It's definitely there, but it's probably not enough for me to inconvenience myself and replace it.

Request. Could someone post a screenshot of the 12 Pro "Record Video" screen in settings that shows how much space will be used based on what you record at. (1080P vs 30, 60, 4K, HDR etc.) I am specifically looking to see the storage numbers it says it will use up when format is set to "Most Compatible" and not "High Efficiency."

Awesome. Thank you so much. Disappointed that they make you use High Efficiency for HDR. We’re not ready to switch to HE yet, too many compatibility issues with what we use.
8 hours since pick up. Graphite 128GB AT&T but SIM unlocked full retail. Coming from 11 Pro. Update every year, cause I like new tech. Opinion: device is very nice. Love design. A bit larger than I’d like. 5.8” was the sweet spot for me so didn’t have much of a choice. As far as 5G goes, I’d suggest that’s the last reason for upgrading. Upgrade for the design, device speed being super smooth with iOS 14, camera of course, and many other things...just don’t think 5G is there yet. Anyways...just my opinion. The Mini would have been a great choice for me but the battery was too small. Oh yeah, and have tried multiple screen protectors and are all terrible. Using ZAGG invisible glass+ with blue tint now and it’s a fingerprint magnet!
