Yes anyone tested 14.6 beta? :)

I bought another 12 Pro Max 256 GB Graphite new for good money. Also have raised blacks but it’s ok. Will keep the phone. Everything is fine besides the raised blacks ...

This is 5% grey with about 10% brightness. Uniform is kinda good. Only the left side a little bit darker but it’s okay ...

Well this does not look very good imo

Now Apple should fix the green tint on dark greys with low brightness an I’m happy with the phone! 😍

Raised blacks are still here (14.5). I suppose they will fix it with the iPh 13 in September.

Also green tint is still present. Best way to check this is through Photos App, tap to share a photo with Messenger and when the window pops up you 'll see it.

Just check in a pitch black room playing the video the OP posted. 14.5 seems to have fixed the issue for me. No more raised blacks on my 12PM.

14.5 partially fixed it for me. Fully black photo in photos app turns the pixels off in all brightness levels and settings app shows real black too, but not all the time. For example, slowly swiping backwards from system update screen the pixels turn back on at certain point of swipe. Don't even have to be in pitch black room to see it because OLED blacks cause (purple?) streaking on lower brightness levels and the streaking suddenly disappear time to time.

Literally few minites ago i unpacked my new regular iphone 12 black, produced in february 2021 and i think its ok. No green tint, neither raised blacks. Whats the best and easiest way to check it? I tried pure black wallpaper in photos app no raised balcks, dark mode on updates in settings. Everything seems fine

Put your phone on low brightness, make sure you’re in a really dark room, swipe through some photos and look at the black bars on the side, you should see a slight green tint for a few seconds, then it goes away.

I’ve started seeing green tint in games on black loading screens, 14.5 has changed nothing.

It’s starting to become a joke now. 🤦‍♂️

If apple can’t fix this mess, they need to own up to it and replace every affected phone.

They should also stop buying panels from Samsung and other oled manufactures.

They have more than enough money to produce their own.

It’s only partially fixed on every iPhone 12 mini I tested. The ones from November and the ones from February. Maybe there will be some additional update which will fix it completely.

Before i updated to 14.5 i had raised black. Problem solved now, perfect oled function. About this green tint i can replicate and have not seen it on my device. Purchased on launch day!

Haven’t tested my launch day pro max yet on 14.5. Can someone remind me what I’m testing please

Finally the raised blacks issue is fixed on my iPhone12 Pro Max after update yesterday to 14.5.
I can now adjust brightness up and down from minimum (complete black) to max bright and the background black areas remain the same constant fully black. Previously as I adjusted brightness up and down the supposedly black areas would flicker back and forth between grey and true black at various thresholds, particularly being always grey at low brightness < 25%.
What a relief . . . at last I can use my iphone as an alarm clock again without lighting up the room all night.
I've not attempted to reproduce any of the other screen quality flaws listed in this thread so I can't comment on how 14.5 may have affected them or even if my phone has them.

Try one the those "10 minutes black" videos on youtube in portrait mode. So you're holding the phone straight up with video description etc. below the video. Do the pixels turn completely black in that szenario in a completely dark environment?

Anyone tested 14.6 beta 2?

Since 14.5 Release raised blacks fully fixed from 0-100% brightness :)

But green tint still visible ...
