Anyone tested 14.6 beta 2?

Since 14.5 Release raised blacks fully fixed from 0-100% brightness :)

But green tint still visible ...
People are reporting that green tint is still happening on 14.6 beta 2.

Grey colors are lookikg a lot better on iOS 14.5, I remember this forum in dark mode looking more greenish/yellow instead of grey.

Hoping we get more of these display improvements updates.

14.5.1 hasn’t fixed green tint, still seeing it on low brightness all over the OS.

Best way to check green tint this is through Photos App. Tap to share a photo and when the window pops up you 'll see it.

It's still present here and so, so annoying.

For me the best way to check for green tint was seting the black/grey ios 14 wave wallpaper. with dark mode in this wallpaper should be black, white and grey with green tint was more green than grey. I compared it side by side with ipad air 3rd generation and the doffernece was huge.

Yep, disappointing 🥺 at low brightness I can get green tint to show up in the photos apps every time while swiping through photos, doesn’t happen when I raise brightness levels.

greys are looking more grey instead of green/yellow on 14.5.1, at least we know apple is working on it.

Hopefully it’s a software issue, did take apple till august to fix the green tint issues on the 11 series, we still have time for a fix. 😂

I was thinking about buying 12 mini. Any experience with green tint or raised blacks on mini model? Thanks

Raised blacks has been fixed, green tint is luck of draw apparently, some people have it and some don’t.

Only 5 month till the 13 mini gets released, unless you really need a phone, I wouldn’t be buying a 12 mini at this current time.

I see this green line always but only if I open the YouTube application on my iPhone 12 pro and start a dark video, and increase or decrease the volume .. when the volume bar appears this green line appears that I hate .. more increase the brightness and more you can see .. for the rest I have no problem with green tint but only the classic yellow calibration of this year's iPhones that we all have .. if I open YouTube from safari the problem is not there because the volume bar has a different graphical interface .. I don't understand if it's a bug on all iPhones because it's a YouTube bug or just mine
Whomsoever said that green tint has been fixed for them in latest 14.5, can you check in the same way as shown in the above quote.
Let us know, if you can replicate it.

13 series are at least 5+months away from being in our hands. Can you wait that long? (If announced in September, shipped very end of September/Early-mid October)

I read that most of the affected devices are 12pro's is this something that is not on regular 12's?
I owned 4 units of regular 12s and allof them were affecred

I hear you. I suspect the quality control has lowered standards on the OLED screens this year to meet demand.

Could be but do you think thats its really possible that such a amount of display could be faulty? Its hard for me to believe it. At the end, this really could be a SW issue after all, or?
